The smart functionality is great! Dryer sends notifications to me phone letting me know when clothes are dry and also sends reminders to clean lint trap. Download the LG ThinQ app and you can find all kinds of useful information about the dryer including energy consumption. I also received a matching washer and both appliances are sleek and beautiful in the space. Love how quiet this machine is. I am very happy with my washer and dryer set and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality machine.

I've had this dryer for about a week and I am very happy with it so far (along with the matching washer). Positives: 1) Extremely Intuitive and Easy to Use - the control panel is very user friendly and it's easy to switch between different modes, temperatures, etc. I haven't needed to refer to the manual as it's very self-explanatory. 2) It's extremely quiet and dries well. I previously had a fairly old dryer and this is almost silent by comparison. I barely notice it running. I've also dried some larger loads (e.g., towels, blankets) and everything comes out really dry. 3) The cycle times are fairly quick, completing in around an hour. 4) The wifi feature is a huge plus for me, getting notifications when my drying cycle is complete. 5) Love the overall look of the dryer. It's very sleek and modern. Negatives: 1) The overall size of the dryer is pretty large so just make sure you have enough room. It fits in my current space although the door sticks out about 1 inch past the front of the dryer. 2) I wish you were able to change the direction that the door opens. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality, performance and overall look of this product. The delivery and installation experience was very positive as well. The delivery company was on time and installed everything quickly and were very professional. I would definitely recommend this product.

I recently got this LG washer and dryer matching set, and I’m seriously impressed. The capacity is huge — I can easily wash a king-size thick blanket with room to spare. We have two toddlers at home so we need to change bed sheet often, this is so helpful since now we can wash all the beddings at once!! The machines are also super quiet, even during high spin cycles. I was honestly surprised the first time I ran it — I had to check if it was even on. It also has all these new smart features, like wrinkle-free drying etc. Excited to explore the rest of the features. Overall, I’m really happy with this set — powerful, efficient, and beautiful. Definitely worth it if you want something that makes laundry a little more fun.

For starters the capacity is huge! The 7.4 cu. ft. drum means I can fit more laundry in each load, so I’m not running it constantly! The AI Sensor Dry feature is pretty cool. it figures out when clothes are just dry without over drying. The controls are also pretty simple, it’s a dial with an LCD display. The ThinQ app features are handy too for alerts and monitoring. Also appreciate the lint filter & duct clog indicators because it reminds me to clean it out. Overall, it’s clean, smart, and makes doing laundry noticeably easier. 5 stars from me!

The dryer delivers outstanding performance, effectively preventing shrinkage and fabric damage. Even luxury garments retain their original texture and quality after drying. With our previous dryer, large towels or clothes sometimes had an unpleasant smell because they weren’t fully dried. Now, with this model, we no longer have to worry about that — everything comes out completely dry and fresh. Additionally, the dryer operates with very low noise and excellent energy efficiency, resulting in noticeably lower gas and electricity bills compared to other models.

Bought the washer with the pedestal washer and dryer to replace our older set that was too bulky. This set is sleeker and has the same heavy duty power as the first set we purchased. Love how you can add wash cycles from the app to your machine and the wash times, I feel are more economical. The controls take some getting used to but a few weeks and we've gotten the hang of it.

Worst product I have evr purchased The best part is that it is 6 months old and they will not honor the warranty. Quote, "If the dryer is making your clothes dirty, you need to wash them again" This is pure trash, too many problems to list. Stay Away!
