Not as cool as I would like and smell is an issue. Needed to put on pretty thick pillow protectors for the smell.

Pillows are awesome, soft but supportive. I use two which props me up but still keep the pressure off my lower back

These pillows came with mattress and they are firm and cooling for those that get hot. They are comfortable.
