I really, really wanted to like this pillow. Before this shredded GhostPillow, I was using the GhostBed brand gel memory foam pillow. I really liked it in the beginning, but as time went on, it seemed like my head wasn't heavy enough to lay comfortably. I would wake up feeling like my chin was touching my chest, or while sleeping on my side, my ear touches my shoulder. I wished I could cut a half inch off the height of the pillow and it would be perfect for me. The ability to customize how much filling the shredded GhostPillow has was a huge draw for me; I could adjust the height. Unfortunately, (30 days into using the pillow) when I wake up in the morning, my head feels like I slept on a solid floor. I am feeling a bit like Goldilocks. I'm disappointed, but that is the nature of trying to find the pillow that is just right.

The pillows had an odd smell when we first got them, and this might sound odd I couldn't figure out the best way to sleep on them. Once the smell disappeared and I figured out the best way to sleep on it, it has been amazing! Totally worth the price best pillow ive ever owned. Cool soft yet firm. A total joy to sleep.

My ghost pillows are the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. The lavender smell is amazing and not too strong, very faint but noce! My ghost bed, oh my... I have never slept so good! And I don't get hot or uncomfortable. I have gotten the best rest ever with my new products. Strongly recommend! !!

If you put anything other than your head on this it will go flat as a pancake. If you sleep on your side and part of your shoulder is on it won't work. Sleep on.your stomach and part of your chest is on it - sinks down until nothing left. Is also isn't any cooler than any other pillow is. I have to constanly flip or my hair sweats. Maybe if you didn't use a case on it it would be cool but then you couldn't keep it clean. If you sleep on your back and only place the back of your head on it then it's fine.

As a pillow conneseur, Ive always loved hotel pillows and never could find one even close to a good hotel pillow. I was excited to get these and I've heard great things. They are WAY better than hotel pillows!! I now have to order two more for traveling.

The pillows are quite comfortable and I've noticed that I don't have as many neck pains as I do with other standard pillows. But there are some nights that my pillows are simply too hot to sleep with. Even with lowering the temperature in my bedroom, I found that when I woke up, I had pushed the ghost pillows away. I also have to admit that the lavender smell that is on the pillows was extremely strong when I first got them and it took a few weeks for the smell to dissipate after washing the covers often as well as having another pillow case on top of the original ghost pillow case.

My husband has had this pillow for about a week. He loves it. He was using a different memory foam pillow before and was always switching it out or trying different combinations. He hasn’t done that since sleeping with this pillow. Great pillow so far! I love that you can instantly feel the cool fabric.

Just recently ordered this pillow after seeing a display at the Nebraska State Fair back in September of 2019. The display pillow had an extra layer of cooling gel and was a bit on the heavier side weight wise. After receiving the pillow and giving it a few days to air out due to the odor of the materials and my wife almost getting physical sick from the smell (sensitive nose), the pillow doesn't quite give the support I was hoping for and the cooling effect is almost nil. Considering ordering a second pillow just to get the desired thickness I prefer. With all the features not up to my expectations it is still better than the other pillows I have tried and been unsatisfied with, and not bad enough to return. So of you have sensitive nose I suggest letting this product set in another room for about a week before use just so it can air out and absorb the smells of your home.

A little too soft and the offgassing lasted for a week. Too stinky to use for that time, and it doesn't feel like it will hold up for too long, but we will see what happens. Maybe I will eat my words... It did arrive quickly and was packaged very well.

I wanted to wait a few months to give an honest opinion, so here goes. It's COOL and yes I mean that both ways. It looks cool and the second you touch it you feel that cooling technology, it's kind of magic. They were not kidding when they advertise that you'll feel it instantly and you do! The shell design is awesome. I sleep HOT! With most pillow I end up sweating through it and that wakes me up in the night and it's awful. I don't care how supportive it might be, when I'm sweating throughout the night, all of that gets tossed out of the window. But not with this pillow, I have not woken up once from this pillow. I think this pillow is amazing and supports my neck better than any pillow I've had. The second my head hits the pillow it's cradled and that lasts throughout the night. It's super soft to the touch but firm enough where I feel that support will last, it NEVER needs fluffing! Like anything, you might need to adjust it slightly every once in a while, basically lift your head up for a few seconds, it self-inflates, and when you lay back down it's like a little cloud. The rest of my body takes a cue to follow my head and neck to unlock and relax, and it does. My whole body feels relaxed. I think they hit it out of the park with this one. But nothing is perfect. And really my only gripe is the obnoxiously large logo that is slapped smack dab in the middle of this awesome pillow. We get it, it’s from GhostBed, we bought so we don’t need to be reminded, in what is like someone shouting it at us. And I'm not complaining for the aesthetics or anything, it eliminates the cooling technology part of the pillow I praised above! They placed it in what I considered the most crucial part of the pillow, the middle! It’s not woven into the really awesome fabric shell, so it stays and feels like the rest of the pillow, it’s a different material all together and has no cooling aspects whatsoever, and it’s not soft. Not to mention 99% of people will use a pillow case, so no one is going to see that dang logo. I just don’t understand why the designers would shoot themselves in the foot like that. I bought this for the cooling aspects and where I want/need it the most, they purposely ruined that. You have 95% of the pillow with this amazing cooling feature and the dead center it’s this rough logo. It was bad enough in the beginning that I thought I might return it. But because the rest of the features are sooooo good, I’ve decided to tough it out, but honestly curse it all the time. Anyway that aside this is an amazing pillow that I would recommend to anyone and everyone who sleeps hot and wants to sleep on a cradling cloud of support. I just hope they come out with a pillow shell 2.0 sooner than later! Thanks for reading.
