When I first got the pillow, it smelled so strongly of chemicals that I coups barely stand it. I wasn't able yo sleep on it for a few nights because it was giving me a headache. I believe this hasn't been the case with all of their pillows because I have a friend who ordered 4 of them, none of which had this issue. I'm not sure what went wrong with mine, but I'm still suffering through the smell so I can use the pillow. I've had it for about 2 weeks and the smell is SLOWLY fading away. Other than that, it's a great pillow.

ok at first when i got it. ok it had a smell it's quite intense(but in a flowery type smell) first few days but now it's very faint. my other first observation was it could be too high for me and i might wake up w/ neck pains... 2 weeks in now and i love it, no neck pains whatsoever, and it def does help cool, but i wouldnt say itll keep you from sweating, but it's def a lot cooler than a regular down pillow. a def recommend!

Contrary to the claims on the FAQ site, this pillow has an overwhelming smell. It took over the bedroom. I bought two pillows and I woke up the first night with both pillows on the floor trying to escape the smell. It gave me a headache. I am not one of those people who gives really bad reviews. I am happy with almost anything, but this is just not tolerable. When I contacted the staff, they were super friendly and provided recommendation to eliminate the odor, but it has been weeks and the oder is still there. I washed the covers, ran the pillows in the dryer with no heat...squished the pillows daily for weeks and still too much to sleep on. The pillow actually seems comfortable and I sat on them a few times trying to get the smell out and they actually were a bit cooling - so if it didn't;t have the scent I would probably rate 5 stars. I would send them back, but the shipping that I apparently have to pay would be almost as much as the pillows cost me, so I guess I am stuck with them. I am hoping that after another six weeks they may be OK to put in the bedroom without being overtaken by the smell...sorry, I REALLY wanted to love this pillow.

So I’ve been using two pillows, just basic shredded memory foam. I’ve been waking up with headaches and head and neck pain. And over the past year or so I’ve become a hot sleeper (hello menopause) so I was looking for something cooler. I tried this pillow and loved it right away. I never thought I’d be a one pillow sleeper but this one is enough. It’s supportive and firm yet still soft and comfortable. And I love the outside fabric. My neck doesn’t get sweaty anymore. I’m actually using the ghost sheets too and using the pillowcase. I know they say you don’t have to use a pillowcase but I love the sheets so I wanted to. I just really love this pillow and the headaches are gone. Thank you for making this great pillow! I’ll be buying another one soon!

These pillows were okay, but ultimately, I'm going to return them because, as a side sleeper with broad shoulders, these pillows were not thick enough to give me the neck/heads support I'm looking for in my pillows. I can see these pillows being great for back or stomach sleepers, however! I really liked the concept of being able to customize the level of fluff inside (if only there was MORE).

I had my reservations but decided to take a chance and I gotta tell ya, I am loving this pillow. I usually had to adjust and turn my pillow over many times throughout the night but not with this one. It does not go flat, does not feel like a bag of cement and although it does not dissipate heat that well while in contact with my head, it quickly does once I move, so no more looking for the cool spot. All in all, I am very happy with this pillow. I hope it lasts a while and expect to replace it with a new one when it does wear out. Wish it came in a king size but that's more for the look when the bed is made, not necessarily for the comfort. I have that.

The pillow itself is comfortable and I really enjoy the ice material. The issue i have is the logo embroidered onto the middle of the pillow is too think and u comfortable to sleep on. It actually really ruins the experience. Unfortunately you can't get the ice cover without the giant logo. Would give 5 stars if I could get the ice covering without such an intrusive logo digging into my ear.

When I first received my GhostPillow I was concerned because it was much, much softer than I prefer. I typically like a firm pillow and this was anything but. However, after using it for 3-4 weeks it has become my favorite pillow. I have yet to wake up with any neck soreness and I am getting a sound sleep every night, something I wasn't consistently getting with my Tempurpedic pillow. The one thing that was not very noticeable to me that I read in other reviews was the lavender scent. It had a slight smell but no where near as strong as some reviews made it out to be. Overall I would recommend this pillow.

I bought two Ghostbed pillows and will be buying more today. I was hesitant to spend money on a pillow, how much difference can a pillow make? Well, I've learned, quite a bit. It has been such a pleasure sleeping comfortably with just the right amount of support for my neck. My only issue was the odor of the pillows when they arrived. as I don't like any scents, I found it very offputting. I felt s bit better when a friend identified the smell as lavender, but still would have much preferred the pillows odor free. Luckily the odor has since disappeared.

I have used these pillows on my bed and have decided to upgrade my spare bedroom pillows. They come with a protective cover which is easy to remove and wash. The memory foam keeps its shape and lasts. Comfortable and great in the summer time as they don’t retain as much heat.
