I love my new Ghost bed with the adjustable base. It has helped me with my recent back surgery and being able to lift my legs when my feet are swollen. The best feature for me has been the cooling feature of these beds. I sleep hot and they keep me cooler than my old memory foam bed.

Ordered The Split King and it arrived quite quickly. Set up is super simple, and connecting both units to work as one was as simple as using a the phone jack chord they supplied to sync both up. Will remove the chord when we are ready for separate function. We have a King size sleigh bed and it fit perfectly. All you have to do is remove the center support slats with the legs in the middle and your in business.

I tried out an adjustable bed locally and I thought I really like this. When I told my husband, I was going to order one with our new mattress, he said, “whatever you think. It is not a need.” After sleeping on the adjustable base, the “want for me” became a “need” for him. We love the versatility of the adjustable base. And we only have room for a queen size but even though we have to share the adjustable part we have no problem getting comfortable. A great investment for us!

The components of the bad did not arrive at the same time but not a big deal. The adjustable base went together very easily. The mattresses for vacuum sealed we open them and allow them to sit for 24 hours before we slept on the bed. It’s incredible how good the bed sleeps. The sheets are great and the pillows are phenomenal. I’m really glad that we got the complete package.

Warranty is deceptive. Only the mattress can be returned. The bases can't. Also HUGE deal here, the mattress does not connect to the base. So if you are in zero gravity and you get out of bed the mattress pops up. If you move the base at all without being in the bed the mattress moves. This is not what I expected out of the investment I made. The one star is for easy installation.

I have two Twin XLs for my King hybrid flex mattress. You can program them to work separately or together. I have the remotes synced because I don't know if it's good for the mattress to be in different positions on opposite sides considering it is a hybrid.

We did a lot of research and thought we would “take a chance” on the Ghost Bed. We saw all the competition at local stores, and after seeing the reviews online we bit the bullet and ordered two Twin XL units. The units work great (we use them separately), and all functions work as advertised. NOTE: these ARE NOT wall-hugger units, so keep that in mind. Our only “complaint” is that the nice remote unit, although illuminated, only stays lit for a split second. You must press a button to illuminate the display, and if you don’t have the buttons memorized then you may hit the wrong button initially. Then as you’re searching for the correct button, you have to keep punching buttons to keep it lit up. Kind of irritating and could be fixed in the remote logic to stay lit longer.

I purchased two Twin XL frames for a King size set up. The base is well made a very easy to set up. Basically you screw on the legs and slide a pin in to place and you're done. The motors work well and make a slight humming noice when operated. The remote offers several preset positions, two memory buttons you can program, and an infinite amount of adjustments for head and legs independently. The side USB charging stations built in are a nice addition, as is the flashlight button on the remote. The bed also has under bed lights which you can turn on via the remote to light your way if you need to get up in the middle of the night. It's a nice feature for safety and also will not disturb your sleeping partner. Why only 4 stars? Well, the remote has many button so it's not easy to figure out in the dark. Although it lights up you need to hit s button to illuminate it. It would be great if it lit up when moved like my tv remote. Also, the under bed lights should be motion censor activated. If you step out of bed the lights should come on. Instead you need to grab the remote and try to locate that specific button. Lastly, the legs have hard plastic bottoms. I'd prefer something softer especially on my hardwood floor. That can be addressed with an aftermarket pad which they can sit on for very little cost. I suppose these issues are very minor, but still some room for improvement. Overall I like the adjustable base a lot. It certainly makes watching tv, using an electronic device or reading in bed much more comfortable. In fact, my back and body seem much more relaxed with my head and feet slightly elevated versus laying flat. I would highly recommend and would purchase again.

I actually haven't set up my adjustable base yet. I am saving money for a new matress. I'm so excited about setting up my new bed then. I think it will be awesome. I bought the Ghostbed adjustable base, because it was the best I could find and the price was right. I'll do another review when I've slept on my new bed for a few days.

It took almost two months to get it, despite claims of "super fast shipping." Credit card was charged at time I placed order even though they knew they couldn't fulfil my order when it was placed. Upon unpacking the topper, it smelled bad -- this was expected, but it took three weeks before it could be tolerated so that it could be used. I'm not sure it could be considered cooling, but it definitely was not hot like the previous topper we had. Definitely makes for a more comfortable sleeping experience than our mattress which was too hard -- the main reason we bought the topper so I guess that was good. Main reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the length of time it took to ship and the three weeks it took to "off gas."
