I have this pair with my echo dot and love it. sounds great and portable sound where the dot needs to remain plugged in. sound is great and never distorted. not extremely loud but its a mini unit and not expected to be but it puts out a punch. I take it out on the boat, out in the yard, on vacations to stream from my phone. absolutely love it. they are well received when I started to give them out as gifts to friends. easy to use and never issue with the blue tooth connection

We've had this, maybe a year. The lights on top no longer come on when the speaker is on, they stopped after 3 months. When you turn it on, it can say, until it dies, that the battery is at 60%, sometimes a different number, it never goes down is my point. It will die, then you know it needs charged. It's done that for the last 6 months. Currently it sometimes won't turn on, leaving me to believe that I neglegted to turn it off. However, after setting it on the charger and turning it on, it will say it's at 60% battery. With that being said, the sound is amazing, it was easy to set up, we've used it outdoors and thought the sound quality was excellent. I would purchase this again, however I'd make sure to also purchase anew extended warranty.

I bought this a month ago and use it all the time now. I carry it to and from my office, and I use it in my home office, living room, bedroom - all over! The sound is outstanding - full size sound in a mini size. My friends are all thrilled with it too! I listen to music and audiobooks and comedy - there is no distortion, true bass comes through. I'm glad I bought it.

This mini speaker made me to retire all the other speakers that I have at home. Great sound for that size. I take it wherever I go. Office, camping and etc. Great choice to impress others and takeover a boring small group with your music. I recommend to buy the cover to protect the smooth finishing.

Purchased this for a trip to Mexico, gotta have my tunes!!! Paired instantly with my Galaxy Tab S2 and my Galaxy Note 4. Simple setup and excellent sound quality. I only use FLAC files so I get all the sounds and this little unit reproduces them faithfully. The high mid and low frequencies are nicely balanced and this little puppy has an astonishing base for its size. Very happy with my purchase here and the portability.

I bought this speaker a couple of weeks ago. I had tried a few others and sent them back. This is the most incredible sounding speaker. It is extremely clear and the bass is awesome regardless of the volume. I use this in the house, yard, and bring it camping. I get about 8 hours off the battery which is amazing. I couldn't have made a better choice.

This is nicely built and sounds good/great, but the issue that makes me not buy one (I'm trialling a friend's unit) is that if it's connected to the TV and the power outlet, it hums/buzzes a LOT. I've tried using a USB/USB charging cable as well as USB/AC to no avail. It's still excessively noisy. Unplug the power and it's fine. So I'm guessing that the power supply and the audio circuit aren't as isolated as they should be, which is audio design 101, so I'm not too forgiving of Bose for letting this through. I'll be looking elsewhere unfortunately, as I thought this would be a quick win. PS This review form doesn't submit on Firefox.

There are a ton of these devices out there, with a large range of price points, so I was hugely flattered when I received this unit as a gift, because BOSE has an outstanding reputation in audio. That said, every time I use this unit, it is a fumbling perplexity. It just does not easily pair/find the bluetooth source (and, that's why I got it - not to hardwire it). Literally every time I use it, it struggles to pair with the (previously paired) sources. Buzz kill. The sound is fantastic once it's up and running, but then.... don't try to use it for more than 3-4 hours unplugged (or just plain leave it unplugged for a day with no use). Then it dies and takes at least 30 minutes to get back an initial charge to start it up again. Party foul. Really, BOSE has an amazing (earned) reputation in sound and this unit reflects that. However, the everyday usability and other hardware/firmware components do not fulfill the cost-value promise. In short... Please work on it, BOSE, because you have the hardest, most important part figured out. I just want to pair and play, please!

I've had my Bose speaker for a while now but I have to keep it plugged in all the time now because it doesn't stay charged. I use it may be 10 hours a week but by the end of an hour training session its down from 100% to 70%, and by the end of my second session it s at 40%?? I'm even using the charging cable it came with??

We purchased the mini several weeks ago primarily to use as a speakerphone. We make all of our long distance calls from our iPhones. The iPhone speaker leave something to be desired when using as a speakerphone so both of us can talk and listen. What a perfect solution.
