My BOSE mini sounds great when it works. It will play fine but all buttons will blink and the sound goes out for a while. The speaker does this on and off the entire time. I've tried to power it off and back on, charging it, and connecting devices through Bluetooth as well as the AUX cord, and using different devices. This product should not do this. It completely ruins the moment!

Had this speaker for about 1 1/2 years in my office, repaired once for charging system issue and about 8 months later the same problem developed again. I have a couple of soundlink colors at home that have been extremely reliable. I'm giving up hope for my soundlink 2 and transitioning to a soundlink color for office use. Love Bose products but this one has been a failure.

1. When it was tuned to the max volume, the battery would run out in about 2 hours. 2. Sometimes it becomes unwakeable until I charge it. 3. It's picky to the AC source. ( It doesn't eat my 5-ports usb hub) Other than all the small issues above, I still love my soundlink mini 2 for sure.

Bought the Bose LoundLink Mini because of Bose great reputation. I was not disappointed at the sound, especially the bass response. I bought for group use at the beach and volume was fine. However the battery life was consistently 4 hours, and that was not totally maxed out. The specs. said 12 hours. Called Bose and tech. said 4 hours is not uncommon at all and that the louder volume caused mine to only last 4 hours. The manual and advertisements did not say that at all. Bose needs to come up with a fix for this problem. Other than short battery life, I am pleased with the sound.

Bought this product almost a year ago, and I must say I'm really satisfied about it. The sound quality is excelent. In confined spaces or close to the speaker, the lows are compared to high end speakers, and in open spaces those lows get a little lost. Sometimes there's a problem with bluetooth conectivity (1.1.3) between the SoundLink Mini and my iPhone 6 in which the speaker wont recognise it and I'll have to turn on and off the speaker.

I have a small and a Big Jambox but this speaker beats them both. It is better looking, convenient to put on my workbench shelf and the sound matches even the Big Jambox. Bose has done it again, as you might expect. Good job Bose. I bought the soft case as well, adds to the look and also protects the speaker. I especially like the charging station as I can pick it up and go without having to unplug and then plug back in. As I need reading classes, I no longer have to find my glasses to charge tthe speaker.

Having spent a very long time deciding on which wireless speaker to go for, I've opted for the SoundLink Mini II, though it was a hard decision to make. Bose deserve top marks for Sound Quality and Styling, both of which on the SoundLink Mini II would deserve 5 stars. However, the unit is let down by it's limited functionality. I really wanted to have the option to pair two units and run them in stereo (a function offered by a leading competitor) and I'm very disappointed that this revised updated mark II Bose won't do that ? (I'd just assumed that it would so as to keep up with the competition). So only 4 Stars awarded. If it had the software to allow pairing two units to run together in stereo then it would have got 5 Stars from me.

I bought it less than a month ago coz i liked the soundlink 1. Two days after, it would always disconnect in the middle of the music i was playing from my phone and the battery indicator would stay lit in solid orange. Even if i hold the button for 10 seconds, it would not reset. Very frustrating. Updating the software didn't even solve anything. I got this as a gift, and no idea how i can get it replaced.

I have had my speaker a few months now. The sound is incredible, very life-like. The Bluetooth makes the connection every time. Other Bluetooth sources in the area do not interfere with my connection or music. I would recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a wireless, Bluetooth speaker.

I have this pair with my echo dot and love it. sounds great and portable sound where the dot needs to remain plugged in. sound is great and never distorted. not extremely loud but its a mini unit and not expected to be but it puts out a punch. I take it out on the boat, out in the yard, on vacations to stream from my phone. absolutely love it. they are well received when I started to give them out as gifts to friends. easy to use and never issue with the blue tooth connection
