Havent bought these in a while, until recently. They use to be really good but this time they was not good. They were hard even after warming then up and they taste old. The label say it was made on the 11th and good till the 16th and i bought them on the 12th.

We prefer Meijer’s cinnamon rolls as a dupe for the national chain’s product: Fluffy, cinnamon infused, real cream cheese icing. Since they had none, I took advantage of Sam’s delivery and added this to our order. Not only does the frosting seem to include shortening (thus producing a waxy mouthfeel and reducing the cream cheese taste) there is no leavening! The layers came apart with one bite and were so dry even coffee couldn’t help! Not wanting to contribute to food waste, I scraped off the icing and stored the remaining rolls in a glass container overnight. This didn’t help—they were less dry, but the layers fell apart more easily. I read the most recent reviews before purchasing and, if this version is the “better” version, I hate to imagine what they were like before. If you prefer a yeasty cinnamon rolls, do NOT waste your money!

what did they do to these wonderful cinnamon rolls?!?! They were on hiatus for a year or more, then they showed back up with the same sku and half the volume.

The icing was 10/10. The cinnamon roll itself was horrible. Dry and hard. So bad, we ended up throwing them out. After reading the rave reviews, I was so disappointed.

Members Mark recently changed the recipe. They used to be awesome. Now they are smaller, have less cinnimon filling, and a much different texture. Why did they RUIN such an exellent bakery product. please go back to the old recipe.

Stale and tasteless EVEN when heated. You can throw enough cream cheese icing on anything to make it edible. Also, the clear plastic container they put these rolls in is FAR to inferior for the product. Flimsy and cheap. Just picking up the package throws rolls and icing all over the inside of the container. Do better Sam’s. A hard pass for me.

I used to absolutely love these. Now the cupcake part is so hard they are almost impossible to eat. I have to use a really sharp knife to get them open to eat. I put them in the microwave for 25 seconds. That usually softens things. It did nothing to help.
