These cinnamon rolls are excellent, especially slightly warm.

These used to be a Wonderful Christmas morning treat. Unfortunately, this year we were a little disappointed with the smaller size, the amount of icing and they were tough. (warmed in the oven, per instructions) The price also went up, which would be fine if the taste and quality stayed the same. I think it’s time to fine a new Christmas morning treat.

There’s a lot that Sam’s gets right in the bakery department (cupcakes, cookie cake, croissants, the heavenly chocolate brownie cheesecake, when in stock) but these were a complete and utter disappointment. The rolls themselves were hard and dry. The frosting was way too sweet for what should, theoretically, be a cream cheese frosting since it was on cinnamon rolls. I had to scrape the frosting off and microwave the roll to make it somewhat palatable. That helped the dry/hard factor a little but there was very little cinnamon flavor to them. We definitely will not purchase these again.
