It's like if you had Apple wired headphones, but like wireless with noise cancel or noise pass through mode. I think these should be priced around $70-$80. I got them on sale for around $165. I would not pay $240 for these. High quality sound and noticeably better than my old first gen pros. The microphone is crystal clear as well. Battery life exceeds expectations, got through a full round of golf without my left pod dying on me and that round was in direct heat under the sun.

My AirPods 2 Pro died a tragic death in the washing machine. At first I didn't like these at all and was considering a return, but after a few months I have grown somewhat used to them. The biggest annoyance I have noticed is a worse call quality. When I wear these in noisy environments people always tell me they can't hear me which never happened with my Pro 2. Also, when I use Siri it often doesn't understand me, so I do think the microphones are worse for some reason.

Poor instructions for use! They assume you know how to use these properly! Sounds great listening to music at home. I don't drive with these in my ears! However, Not compatible with the Apple Car Play feature in my 2018 Chevrolet Impala! After getting pairing the iPods with my phone and going over all the settings, per the awful instructions (you have to keep looking up features on Apple's website to understand what's available and what you can do with these AirPods), the next day, I went to drive to work (these AirPods were not in my ears or even in my car!) and I could not make any outgoing phone calls via my Apple Car Play from my car, which has always worked fine for me! Same problem on way home from work! No outgoing calls via the Apple Car Play feature or just using straight Bluetooth without Car Play. Get home, unpair the AirPods, take the AirPods off my phone, and everything works fine again! Since it's more important to be able to make phone calls in case of emergency than to have AirPods at home, AirPods are now off my phone! These AirPods ARE helpful if you have a moderate hearing problem! You can run the Hearing Test and the profile from the Hearing Test loads for the AirPods, BUT, I kept getting a message to change the tips that go into your ears, saying that I had a “Seal Problem”! Changed tips several times and ran the “Seal Test” (nice music on the Seal Test) but kept getting the “Seal Error” message anyway! One more reason to take this off my iPhone! I'm sure it works great for young people with the latest versions of iPhone, but my iPhone is only 3 years old!

AirPods do not connect sometimes

Great sound quality and the microphone works great. Wish they fit a little better and wish the noise cancelling didn't allow human voices through - was kind of the point.

Had to buy a new pair after losing mine on the mountain skiing. I previously owned a 2nd gen and wish I would have bought those again instead. With these you can hear why more outside noise. I've messed with all the settings, it's just not as good as the 2nd gen. It also feels disorienting when you first put them in… hard to explain. I liked how it came with multiple ear bud sizes. I have smaller ear and always have to size down. Don't like how it didn't come with a charger and of course they changed the port on these where my previous charger didn't work, so I had to buy a new one.

These are the most awesome ear buds I've ever owned. The noise cancellation is the best. The way it is able to switch between noise cancellation and pass through when you're having a conversation is very handy. I'm wearing the constantly because they are very comfortable and handy to have around. The iPhone gives you charge status of the ear buds and carrying case.

Love these!! I have no idea why I didn't purchase these sooner. The only thing I'm not impressed with is that I have to stay pretty close to my phone to stay connected. It isn't a deal breaker though since the sound is amazing, the volume is above anything else I've had, the noise canceling is great too!
