- 1 out of 5 stars review3/8/2022I obtained this frame and all was. Great! Housekeeper washed the remote and it was downhill fro here. Clearly the occurrence is no fault of the company but a replacement should not take greater than 4 months. Frame is stuck in an upright position. No one can assist with manual decline. No-one has a clue as how to operate it without the remote. Frame was bought for my elderly Mother’s comfort. Well since November that has not been the case. I was transferred from one company to another. Finally we were able to purchase a remote. Well that saga has a continuous 2 more week limbo. We are now n the third section of 2 week limbo. I am so dissatisfied with this frame since if stuck there is NO support.

The bed has been amazing, our sleep has improved immensely. My partner is a snorer with a breathing issue; I just struggle with back aches from 12 hour shifts on my feet. Immediately our sleep improved and we could see a big difference. I wake up satisfied, definitely worth every penny.

My large luggage fits under there with no issue. So the height is perfect. I was worried about that. The frame was extremely heavy and requires two people to set up. But once you get it set, prepare for less back pain, great in bed TV watching, and smooth transition from sitting to laying flat.

I love the adjustable ways I can position my bed. I find if I slept too elevated, it can hurt my back so I have to make sure it's positioned just right. The fact I'm able to elevate my feet is so important because my feet swell alot during warm/hot weather since I've gotten older. The massage feature vibrations gives me a headache but I can deal more with it just on my foot. That's the only complaint I have is it vibrates more than massage & the pressure it generates is not good for to my head.

They both arrived in a timely manner and were so easy to unpackage / assemble. Literal game changer for my sleep! I have some neurological issues that cause many position while sleeping to be painful, resulting in extremely restless nights. Being able to adjust my head and feet before sleep, during the night if I wake (which happens considerably less now) and upon waking has changed my life!! I am getting a quality of sleep that I honestly didn't think was possible. The level of comfort these products provide is amazing! My attitude is better, my productivity is better, I'm so happy to have found these! ...

We have had them about a month and half and we enjoy being able to adjust our beds individually. The standard Nectar mattress is just the right firmness. We had a different memory foam mattress that we replaced because we were both waking up achy and not well rested after tossing and turning to try and get comfortable. So far we are loving the Nectar.

It’s nice, it’s sturdy & loaded with some cool options such as massage & zero gravity mode. The reason I am giving it 3 stars as opposed to 5 is because our remote does not always work. It started to malfunction within the first month or 2. I am not sure what the exact issue is as we did not drop and/or spill water on it. It sort of just works whenever it wants to. I have to physically unplug the frame and plug it back in for it to start working again. Kind of a bummer considering how much we paid but it is what it is I guess…

While it can be put together by a single person, two people definately make the process much easier. Now for the shortcomings. The retention bar at the foot of the bed is too short. This causes the mattress to slide off the foot of the bed when raising the head. The mattress also has a tendency to slide to one side or the other. The can be fixed by making a taller retention bar, which would keep the mattress from canting and sliding. It's annoying to the point that I'm having a bar made.
Good so far but a few short comings.

No amount of wedge pillows, reg pillows etc relieved the pain in my lower back. After the very first night of being able to adjust the bed and the comfort of the Nectar mattress I was able to get out of bed without difficulty and did not have to take anything for the back pain that I always had. I can't praise Nectar enough. Best money spent in years.

But it seems strong and does as described on the site. We ended up putting a traditional spring mattress on it, and it works well, but obviously doesn't bend at the hip position as much as a "bed-in-a-box" mattress would.

I put the frame inside my previous frame so I could keep the head board. Two suggestions. The massage works fairly well but it is uneven. The head massager is on one side of the bed while the foot massager is on the other side. So one person in bed gets a nice head massage while the other person gets a nice foot massage. Why can't they be in the middle? The other is with the USB ports. I have yet to use them. They are placed about 40% of the way from the head. This is right where you get in/out of bed. So your could hit the cables with your feet. It would be better if the ports were more like 10% from the head.

The remote just wasn't pairing for some reason. We tried contacting Nectar support for help but they sent us to the support of the maker of the frame, but they have limited hours. My husband finally figured it out but it was super frustrating since the directions make it seem like it should just magically work. It also stopped working about a month after we got it, and my husband had to unplug it for a while before it started working again. We are going to keep a watch on it, but I am glad we got the extended warranty on it and would definitely recommend that to anyone purchasing. I have two complaints though. 1st, there are squeaks coming from somewhere in the frame, I plan to try finding the source and fix if I can. 2nd, wire management between the electronic components is nonexistent. Lots of wire just hanging from underneath, seems in time it will get tangled and damaged.
I like having an adjustable frame.

This is a big improvement. My husband put it together with very little assistance. The bed has USB outlets which is pretty handy. There is a blue light that comes from under it, but you won’t see it unless you are out of bed. There is a massage feature as well which we don’t really care much for because it is loud and mainly makes the bed vibrate, it’s kind of weird. I wondered if we would ever disagree about how high or low the bed was adjusted, since it is a queen and not a split king, but it has not been an issue.

Build quality on the frame better than expected and the up and down motion and other features are all sturdy and solid. As for the mattress, I love that it’s a little on the firmer side and I love how thick it is, I think 14” or so. I sleep on my back and my side and it’s great for both. Only negative is MAKE SURE YOU LET THE MATTRESS AIR OUT FOR A FEW DAYS BEFORE USING!!! The gasses it releases gave us headaches and sore throats for a couple days and then it was gone. So I think 48 hours minimum to air out in a safe place and then you’re good to go. No problems since.
