Love the front load LG washer and dryer We had another set of LG front loaders for 24 years. We moved and I decided to try a different brand of top load machines. Was not a fan after 4 years I decided to go back to LG front load and was definitely the best decision. This washer is fast and efficient. Quiet, has more than enough choices for different load types and uses less water. Love it!

I have now used the washer for about a week and found it to be great washer. There are pros and cons about it. Great looking design. Having the dial is a great plus as I don’t like just having the LCD. Starting the washer takes little longer than expected. When you press the power button and the start button, it doesn’t start instant. There is slight lag, but you get used it and prevents accidental start. I like there is quick cycle (14 min). Very helpful when in a hurry. AI wash cycle wasn't as expected. the clothes was little more damp than the normal wash. I couldn't find the tub light. It took a while to find it under settings. Hopefully they can fix that with the app. I did connect the washer to the ThinQ app which was super easy. I can't wait to tryout the ThinQ UP feature and get new features. Overall washing machine is great. The performance is good and the design is very attactive. The noise level is super quiet. You can’t feel the vibration during the wash or spinning.

My family was part of the LG friends and family sample program and we got this washed. We absolutely love it. It can hold a large capacity and has different cycle options. Using the thinQ app helps as well. It hardly makes any noise. It's smart technology and performance is amazing. It literally knows the weight of laundry and can determine the length of a quick wash. This front load washer WM5800HVA is awesome. Beautiful, has well designed dial, I recommend using the AI setting; it will select optimal settings for you depending on the weight of the load and its type. Unit is very quiet and since I got a combo with the dryer placed on top of it it is a perfect match. It replaced the few years old front load washer from other brand that was inferior in my opinion to this one. This model fits a lot of clothes to be washed. Remember to add some simple baking soda to soften the water for best laundry results. My other half is amazed by it too, as she can turn it on with her phone and options of cycle selections fit her well too.

I found The LG WM5800HVA has a sleek and modern design, and an easy user interface. The control on the WM5800HVA is done via the dial at the machine’s front and rotating it allows to scroll through its wash cycles and see a clear description of each in the display screen. The WM5800HVA can connect to the LG ThinQ app and can download additional cycles for cleaning bed sheets and other items. The app also allows to control the machine remotely and receive notifications when a wash has ended. The WM5800HVA is big enough for my family’s washing load and can fit some larger items, such as a blanket, sheets and multiple pairs of jeans . I found the WM5800HVA performed excellent with our clothed cleaned well and excellent stain removal compared to my old washing machine which was a top load model with no agitator. This model is a front load so the clothes tumble for better detergent distribution and agitation. The cycle time was half that of my old machine. I also liked the dispenser on the front of the machine for easy loading of detergent and softener. Overall I am very satisfied with this machine and look forward to many years of use for my family. I highly recommend it.

I recently got this LG washer and dryer matching set, and I’m seriously impressed. The capacity is huge — I can easily wash a king-size thick blanket with room to spare. We have two toddlers at home so we need to change bed sheet often, this is so helpful since now we can wash all the beddings at once!! The machines are also super quiet, even during high spin cycles. I was honestly surprised the first time I ran it — I had to check if it was even on. It also has all these new smart features, like wrinkle-free drying etc. Excited to explore the rest of the features. Overall, I’m really happy with this set — powerful, efficient, and beautiful. Definitely worth it if you want something that makes laundry a little more fun.

The washer cleans very well overall. The worrying thing is that it is slightly unstable and bounces and moves around little during cycles. (I am not overloading it). The drum is also slightly loose compared to all other display units I've seen in store which seem to be quite rigid, although I haven't seen this specific model that I purchased to be able to compare my unit to. I have not tried any AI or smart features like connect to it through an app so I can't give any feedback in that regard.
