It doesn't stay cool for more then a few seconds for me. It doesn't get hot but I wouldn't call it a cooling pillow personally.

Perfect-size, super soft pillow that provides just the right amount of comfort for the head and neck.

It's too thick. When I try to use it, my neck is at an odd angle, which ultimately leads to neck pain. It's fine as a secondary pillow, though.
