I got this pillow because I started waking up with a lot of back and neck pain. Took me a bit of a research before deciding on it and I do not regret that decision. I've had this pillow for a few months now and it has definitely helped with the pain, giving me a comfortable sleep in the process.

For real. These pillows are amazing. I have a lot of trouble sleeping, but these pillows... maaaan they’re like little clouds leading me to dreamland. They’re soft, yet firm. They’re cool. If you’re on the fence about buying them, get the heck off the fence and just buy them. 10/10 would use forever.

I've used a few different pillows over the years. Most recently, and for several years, I used a water pillow. I loved it. Though, at times, it seemed too firm, I had no issues its weight or comfort level. However, for a couple reasons, it was time for a new pillow. We've been on a Ghostbed mattress since January, 2016 and we love it. It's one of the best mattresses we've ever used. So, it made sense to get a GhostPillow. I'm so glad we did! The pillow is the perfect size and weight. It's not too firm or too soft. It's a little slow to regain its form but, I suppose there is a slight restriction on airflow because I put a zippered pillow protector on it to keep my greasy head from ruining it. I also have had issues with neck and back pain. Before the Ghostbed mattress, I frequently woke up with both shoulder, neck, and back pain. Before the new GhostPillow, I would occasionally wake in the morning with neck pain or wake up in the middle of the night sweating through the pillow case. Since I've been using the GhostPillow, I haven't had any issues with neck pain and it cools very well.

In my adult life, I have always had the Sealy gel memory foam pillows. I love the cooling it gives but it only lasts a few minutes before I even fall asleep the cooling is gone. The ghost pillow is a dream pillow. As soon as my head hits, I'm out. Stays cool all night, stays formed properly always. Best pillow I ever had!

We mostly like the Ghostbed so far, but we don't love it... so far. My understanding is these type of beds take about 30 days to fully "break in", and we are only a week in, so this review may need future updating. For now, the bed is high quality and very sturdy, but the firmness was a bit of a surprise. I wanted a mattress with more of a soft, sink-in feeling; you do not get that with this bed at all. Rather, it feels reasonably soft to lay on, but the lack of "sink" changes that over the length of the night. I've still found myself rolling over a few times at night because of pressure points, especially at my hip and shoulder. I have very broad shoulders, so I was really hoping to get a mattress with a full sink effect to eliminate those pressure points. So far, it hasn't fully done so, but I will give it the full 30 days and see what happens. Right now, I'll give it a 6 out of 10. For those looking for a firm memory foam mattress, though, this is a perfect solution. We do both love the Ghost Pillows though.

Shipping took a while due to covid-19, but once it got here it has been great. The cover on the pillow actually does stay cooler than other pillows, even with a pillowcase on. I haven't had any issues with it sleeping hot like foam can do sometimes. While it is softer than my previous memory foam pillows, it doesn't sink in as much as they do. I've had some really great sleep on it so far. My old pillows (Target memory foam pillows) are no longer comfortable and don't seem to be supportive. I've woken up with almost no neck or back pain since switching (have neck and back issues so that will never completely go away) and no headaches from pressure from pillows or misalignment of my neck. I'm a bigger guy (6'1" 300 lbs) who usually sleeps in all positions throughout the night (back, side, stomach) and all have been mostly comfortable. Stomach sleeping isn't quite as comfortable because I think the pillow is just a touch too high, but after a few weeks/couple months I think it might even out. The only downside I see is if you are someone who likes to flip your pillow over, only one side has the cooling cover. We have a Purple mattress and this pillow works pretty well with it. I think my wife is plotting to steal this pillow from me. You may need to order 2. Side note: the "GhostPillow by GhostBed" logo can be seen through our pillowcases, which I personally don't have an issue with, I think it is a really good example of smart branding, having a "ghost" of a logo show.

Really like the comfort level of the pillow and the loft is just right for me. I would give it a 4.5 if possible. I don't give it a 5 because I am disappointed with the heat build up. I still flip the pillow throughout the night and the flip side isn't that much cooler. Otherwise I would give it a solid 5.

I am I side deeper and this pillow worked great for the most part. I stopped using it, though, because I'm a small woman and the shredded foam held its shape a little TOO well. Very comfortable, I just don't like having an elevated head at all when sleeping. I prefer the neutral spine. I prefer the ghost pillow over the shredded.

I recently purchased the ghost pillow and what a difference this pillow makes. Sleeping on my old pillow I would wake up stiff and sore. Since switching to the ghost pillow I no longer wake up that way. I get a good nights sleep and I couldn't be happier. The lavender smell is not as bad as everyone says. The smell went away a few days after sleeping on the pillow.

I have literally been looking for the perfect pillow for years and I have a closet full of discarded pillows. I am so pleased with the shredded GhostPillow. It keeps its shape, yet you can reshape it to your comfort. It gives me the perfect support and fluffs right back into shape. Highly recommeded.
