Bring back the gyro kit. It was a trip driver and a family favorite. I would go to Sam's just for the gyro kit. It's a pain having to buy all of the ingredients separately and it isn't a viable option at Sam's. You're forcing me to make yet another trip to a different retailer.

The packaging is not very good. Need to be smaller bags or ziplock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixed these with chicken in a roll up style with whipped feta to dip and it was soooo good, will definitely make it again, the meat was pretty good not spit roasted good but very good!

I really liked the ease of heating this in a skillet, letting it brown and get crispy edges. I had the skillet dry, added sliced onions and bell peppers. Charred them then put meat in other side. Quick meal, and thought it tasted good. Not a Greek pita house flavor but absolutely delicious. Cost much less and enjoyed with homemade tzatziki sauce in a toasted spinach tortilla.

The flavor and texture of this meat were both totally off. It was mostly chunks rather than strips of meat, which was weird. The flavor tasted almost floral and not at all the way gyro meat should taste. I also kept getting hard pieces of something like tiny little sticks. Yuck!

I enjoy making sandwiches, adding to salads, or even eating by itself. It's so versatile. This package comes with 2 bags to help keep everything fresh! I find the value to be excellent for the amount of meat. Could easily make about 8 meals from one box! The texture of the meat and appearance are spot on! The taste is delicious and tender! Highly recommend!

These Gyro Lamb %26 Beef slices are delicious! Paired with the Tetrazzini Dip made perfect gyros in just a few minutes. We are definitely going back for more. Simply heat the meat in a sauté pan with a little water and cover about 3 minutes til heated thru. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can cook them on the griddle.

Very good, I'm glad they came out with this versus the kit. The meat pairs well with the tzatziki sauce that they sell as well. I serve it with a warmed pita bread with feta cheese, lettuce, and tomato, and a little bit of Tabasco sauce. I don't understand the negative comments, my gyro that I make at home is better than you can get out!

Taste is good. However, the big problem with this product is the size of the meat slices. Way too small "bits" and "crumbles" of meat. The product has to have more and longer "strips" of meat. I'll buy one more time, but if the product continues to be presented this way with small bits and pieces, I won't continue to purchase.
