My clothes smell so clean. The laundry detergent cleans up really well and it hasn't left any odors behind. Especially for my husband's gym clothes. I like that that it has the push dispenser, it makes it easier for me to not have to keep pouring it out of the heavy big bottle. I didn't noticed a heavy scent and once my clothes are dried they just smell clean. There's no heavy scents lingering. I will say for color stains I did need a laundry booster.
