A good buy, no complaints

Purchased this set on a deal for $1,800 in May 2026. Package arrived on time (the driver arrived a few hours early which was annoying because I wasn't home). The assembly was not time consuming and straight forward. Just started using it. The cushions seem not too firm and not too soft which is perfect for what I was looking for in outdoor furniture. The construction and build quality seem solid. Something to note, the teak wood part of the furniture appears to have a darker stain compared to the photos which I didn't mind.

Vista patio set

We have been looking at this at for over a year while our home was under construction. We did not have the space for it before it was sold out for the season last year. I continue yes to watch to see if the set would come back on the market as the matching dining set of table and chairs was still available. We were thrilled to see it return to our Sam’s Club and could not wait to purchase. We were also pleasantly surprised that the price had not gone up! The set came in one box and with some help getting it home with a truck we assembled and are truly enjoying the comfort and style of our new outdoor furniture. The price is the best around and the modern design was just what we were looking for. The seat cushions are well protected by the covers when not in use. So happy this set came back this year.

Terrible delivery; nice product

Dear Sam’s Club Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the delivery experience for my recent order. First attempt: The initial delivery failed because the shipping company claimed they did not have my unit number or the phone number of the recipient — even though this information was correctly entered on my order. I know this because a smaller item from the same order, shipped separately by mail, had the full address (including apartment number) on its label. Rescheduled delivery: The delivery was rescheduled for several days later, with a 9:00 AM–12:00 PM window and a promised 30-minute notice call. However, by 11:30 AM, I still had not received any updates, so I called the delivery company. I was told they could not provide an estimated arrival time and that their documentation did not even include a delivery window. The delivery driver later texted that they were “in the mountains” and uncertain when they would arrive. The item ultimately arrived around 4:00 PM — four hours late. Upon arrival, I was told the delivery would not be made to my door because it was “basic shipping,” despite the fact that the shipping fee was nearly $200. The item weighs 250 pounds, so this was not a reasonable request. Only after I spoke to a supervisor and addressed a series of unfounded excuses (such as the item “wouldn’t fit in the elevator”) did they finally agree to deliver the product to my door. The product itself is excellent and well packaged, but the delivery experience was unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I have never had such a poor delivery experience in my 36 years, and I believe Sam’s Club should review the performance of this delivery partner to prevent similar issues for other customers. I would appreciate a follow-up and a partial refund or credit for the poor service.
