Easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It needs an app to be used, but installing the app was not complicated. It was easy to activate and also easy to install. The sound is good too. I just wish it could be use with batteries too.

Nice packaging and the actual camera feels really substantial yet still small. Pros: Crisp 2K HDR video. Excellent night vision. Clear two-way audio. The Google Nest Cam Indoor is sleek and reliable. Con: full features require a subscription. Location is limited due to length of the power cord.

We have Ring cameras but the Nest Cam blows the Ring cameras out of the water in terms in usability, picture and video quality. Installation was super easy. The videos are so clear and it’s able to recognize people vs objects. It can even tell you what’s going on in the video with voice prompts. Definitely would recommend it to everyone.

I have my device in my garage which typically has weak WiFi but the camera still works great. The microphone is decent, better than most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never set up a camera before so I was hesitant to see if this would be very difficult for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. The directions were very clear and had a QR code for further instructions as well as an instructional video which was very helpful for someone who is not tech savvy, such as myself. This item came to packaged very well, probably the best packaging of an electronic I’ve ever received. This came with everything you needed to mount this in your house, which is perfect. Overall this is a great product and easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nest cam indoor camera is pretty cool. I'm a gadget geek. I like that you can angle it up or down. Has clear crisp imaging and wide view. It also seems pretty durable. The only thing I don't care for is the wire does tangle very easily. Other than that I think it's one of the best security cameras for indoor use that is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ​I just set up the Google Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) 2K, and wow, I'm genuinely impressed for a first-time user of a smart home camera. ​The setup was incredibly easy—it practically guided me through the whole process in the Google Home app. Within minutes, the camera was plugged in and streaming. ​The 2K image quality is fantastic. The clarity, even when zoomed in, is sharp, and the night vision is clear enough to easily make out details in a completely dark room. The wide field of view covers my entire living space, which is exactly what I needed. ​My favorite feature is the familiar faces recognition (with the optional subscription). It quickly learned who lives here and now only alerts me when it sees a stranger, which drastically cuts down on unnecessary notifications. ​If I had one minor nitpick, it's that the power cord could be a little longer for more flexible placement options. ​Overall: A great experience right out of the box. It offers peace of mind with high-quality video and smart features that are actually useful. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple yet powerful indoor security camera.
