Really delicious bread next best thing to homemade- very hearty- excellent for sandwiches or breakfast toast

Delicious bread. Stays soft. Goff for sandwiches. Love it toasted. You have to cut in half to fit toaster but well worth it.

Good bread

I bought this for the first time about 3 months ago and put it in the freezer. I took the bread out and tried it a few weeks ago and this is the best store bought bread that I have ever had. The bread held together very well when I made sandwiches from it, but when I bit into it--it seemed to come apart in my mouth almost like cake. The taste of the bread really added to the flavor of the sandwich. I have used the bread for peanut butter and honey sandwiches as well as for cold cuts. I am a fan of this bread and I picked up another loaf on my last trip to Walmart. This bread is .54 cents more expensive than the oat nut bread that I buy, but it is certainly worth the price. When I looked up the nutrition value of this bread, a site called "Fooducate" gave this particular brand a B- (minus) rating for it's nutritional value, which is probably pretty high nutritional ratings for bread.

Rustik bread is rather good bread, considering the choices we have in this country on grocery shelves, but never a date on the tab or package. Used to be that the date would be obscured or the ink smeared so it was unreadable, Now, just blatantly no date at all. Isn’t that illegal? Just like I noticed that it’s harder to read or find the ingredients or country of origin online, isn’t that illegal? Seems like they make it harder to view these essential bits of info even when there are photos. (Not just Walmart, but Amazon as well). I can’t buy something when I don’t know how old it is or when it needs to be frozen. And this isn’t a one off—seems to be happening a lot so last time I’ll purchase it.
