I love the apps built in and the ability to order them. I have 2 homes with Vizio's in several rooms of each. I particularly love that they have the Plex app, among others. Other TV brands do not have this. You are able to cast from phone to TV, etc. For their prices, they are inexpensive, the highest quality and full of the features I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a V4K43M-0801 so that I could develop an app on the SmartCast platform and I have to say that the overall experience has been refreshing. The OS performs well on this device, and it has one of the best user experiences I have had on a smart tv in a while. Vizio packs on a ton of features without you feeling overwhelmed. The initial setup is slow and cumbersome, because when you first connect to the network it spends a few minutes pulling over the air updates, but after you get started the OS asks you a few questions to customize your experience. The home screen gives you access to some of the most popular streaming apps, and some of of their own free content to get you going right away. Within a matter of minutes I started watching Space Jam, it was one of their free movies. So far my favorite thing about the user experience are the quick settings, I love that I was able to quickly pair bluetooth headphones from the quick menu, select a picture profile, and manage a few other settings in a matter of seconds. When opening the expanded menu you could make custom picture settings and store them with your own profile name. This further elevated the experience of the quick menu because it let me create settings for dim late night viewing, and setting for bright day time viewing. The OS seems like it was designed for people who like to tinker with TV settings. The TV itself was pretty good, I enjoy the picture quality and the finish of the panel. Overall don't have any complaints with the backlight, inputs, and the overall experience. Pretty good value for the price. Overall I enjoyed the snappy UI, and hope it stays like that with updates to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this 55" Vizio t.v. because the 40"? Samsung t.v. I had was old and kept making a loud noise and would shut off and on like 5 time when you turn it on. So i am happy I got this new t.v. it works fine. No cracks or nothing.

New features on remote control took some getting used to but now wouldn't want to be without it! Easy to connect bluetooth., locate antenna channels, access plug ins like dvd and game system, access and move from ap to ap with voice control. And loaded with free viewing aps! This is my third and best VIZIO tv. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only about a week in but so far TV has been excellent. Onscreen setup prompts are easily understood and guide you thru the setup quickly. Have your smartphone handy for setup process. Free Vizio app is needed for best functionality and control.

Bought this based on previous reviews. The sound sounds like it's coming out of a plastic box. Might have to get a sound bar. Viewing video thru the built in app is also poor quality

Got the tv home, got it hooked up, let it go through all the software updates. It worked for 1 day. The next day, turned the tv on, it took a long time to actually display anything, then only displayed vertical gray bars. It's going back to where I bought it

Family is very happy with picture quality and sound. Price was right, another family member recommended and I woot as the right choice for us and for anyone looking for a quality tv.
