If you enjoy marshmallows, these might be for you. Built protein bars are basically marshmallows pressed into a bar shape and covered in chocolate. Personally I don’t care for marshmallows except roasted over an open fore when I was a kid so these didn’t work for me at all. They don’t qualify for a dessert in my book, and I’ve tried nearly every protein bar on the market over the years. For me this was the worst tasting option but if marshmallows are your thing you might find them appealing.

Tasted like vomit. One bite, straight in the trash. Looked it up and apparently that is a common issue with all the flavors of these bars. Nobody knows why - the company has to be aware and I saw nothing from them addressing it. Honestly, the fact they still sell these is insane. My mouth and nose burned with vomit taste for nearly 10 minutes after that one bite.

Protein bars are often not the most scrumptious items to consume, but these have to be by far the worst I've ever had. I would go as far to say they're among the worst tasting things I've ever tried to eat. The filling has the look and consistency of asphalt, and I can't imagine asphalt tasting much worse. I only tried the peanut butter cup bar from this pack. Smores aren't my favorite, so I didn't dare try them.

I really enjoy both these flavors. They remind me of candy bars and are dangerously addictive.

Why would they make one flavor gluten free and the other flavor not gluten free? Does not make sense.

I thought these both were pretty good. I’ve had some horrible protein bars but these will be a part of the pantry from now on

I love the Built bars in general, but this Peanut Butter Cup flavor is the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I gave one to a friend before I had tried it, to convince her to try Puff bars as a way to add protein, and she told me it was disgusting and hasn’t wanted to try another. My son ate all of the smores flavor but refused to eat the PB after trying one. Honestly, I’m shocked Sams would allow this lack of QC before accepting this flavor combo to be sold.

Love the smores flavor!!! The peanut butter ones are lacking. I wish we could get a mixed pack with the brownie and snores together.

So glad to see Sams carries a different flavor of these bars. My fav go to snack when I’m feeling cravings.
