It's ok, not great.

It's ok but not good to use for espresso machines. When used to make espresso it seems lightly roasted and bland taste. Not super strong and more sweet than a dark roast. If you like stronger flavor in your coffee / espresso then this is not the coffee for you.

For years my daily coffee was member's Mark Colombian and also the member's Mark French roast whole bean. Those two coffees are amazing, but they have not been in stock for over 5 months. I saw this Colombian supremo in stock so I bought it thinking it would be very similar to the Colombian they used to have. that is not the case. This Colombian supremo is a horrible coffee. I would compare the taste to a Folgers classic roast with an old cigarette taste. When we tried this me and my wife both thought we were going to puke! never again

THE BEST WHOLE BEAN COFFEE YOU CAN BUY.

THIS whole bean coffee is THE one to have in your stash. It recently came back in stock after several months and when it arrived, I bought a couple of bags, (PURCHASED 2-25-26), (USE BY 6-22-27), to have for my morning coffee. I was working on a couple of bags of the Duncan whole bean coffee while I was waiting for this to become available.. When I arrived home, I used my vacuum attachment with my food sealer and vacuumed the two Supremo bags to remove any air. When I checked the bags a couple of weeks later, I found that both of them had "expanded" from the beans still out-gassing. This indicates that for the beans to still be out-gassing, that they were VERY RECENTLY ROASTED before hitting the Sam's pallet. My 2nd choice Duncan bean coffee that I had been using had also been vacuumed and the 2 bags still were completely solid with no additional out-gassing taking place, see pix for reference, indicating they were roasted at least several months before I purchased them. The only problem with this SUPREMO coffee is when Sam's runs out of stock and it is not available. With an extended use by date, I will be making certain to buy a "truck-load" of bags so as to not run out.... A 40 oz bag of Supremo lasts me about six weeks and when I grind my beans, I grind about a week's amount and keep them in a wide mouth Ball type jar with a vacuum lid. The "experts" say to grind your beans just before brewing, but, keeping the ground coffee in a vacuum jar comes close enough for ME....

Over-roasted, oily bean that make a weak cup.

I am of the opinion that anyone that says this is a good coffee has never had good coffee. I had high hopes when I read the reviews. I gave it a chance based on the reviews and because it said “Medium-” in the description of the roast but it was way over roasted, to the point that the oils were roasted out of it and you can see burn marks on the beans. I know that preference for coffee is very subjective and I have already seen another review that said that the beans were not even shiny – you don't want them shiny, shiny is ruined. I have been roasting my own coffee for years and maybe I am a little spoiled, but with the rising cost of green beans I was questioning if it is really justified to spend more on green beans than I would spend on already roasted coffee. Well this coffee (and a couple others) have shown me that continuing to roast my own coffee is not only justified, it is a necessity. Based on reading other people's reviews the roast of these beans is extremely inconsistent and you will be rolling the dice on what you will actually get. This coffee made a weak cup of coffee but was still able to leave an ick on the tongue for way too long after drinking it, a stronger cup lead to a stronger ick. Is it better than Folgers, maybe, but I am not going to try Folgers again to let you know. Compared to the Starbuck's Pike Place – they have about the same ick but the way over roasted Starbucks is stronger. This coffee gives about the same level of disappointment as the Cameron's Southern Pecan. The Tim Horton's that ordered has not arrived yet but I have to say that my hopes are dashed for preroasted coffees.

Good Coffee but most not available

Good medium roast coffee. I don't like french roast or dark roast. I grind every few days and it tastes really great. The problem is SAMs don't carry all the time. Once this is unavailable , I go with Starbucks medium roast . I don't know what's wrong with Sams, atleast their own brand should available in every store.

Not Too Good Any More

This used to be my go to coffee, but it has been going downhill over the last year or so. The latest version is probably the worst version yet. The coffee has a lot of chaff after grinding and the flavor no longer has any dark chocolate notes. The flavor profile description on the package was updated too, so this is not the same Columbian Supremo I used to love. I hope Sam's can restore the old quality and flavor this coffee once had.

Amazing coffee- but where did it go?

This is hands down the best coffee I've had in a long while! Balanced, smooth yet robust with a beautifully smooth drinkability! No burned, stale or bitter taste here!!! I drink this exclusively but I am shaken to see this out of stock in store and online! Please tell me this wonderful product will come back in stock!

Cheaped out since change

Beans don't have the flavor, strength or grind consistency they used to have before the packaging change. Used to be shiny/oily and strong now they grind dry and are much weaker. Can tell the quality has been cheaped out. Annoying since they are also up a lot in price from what they used to be.

subpar since packaging change

This has been our go to coffee for several years. Since they changed the bag recently, the quality has plummeted. The beans uses to be great quality, roasted to perfection. The quality of the bean and roasting are now subpar. The beans are not shiny and do not grind the same. The flavor is no longer bold and dark, it us more light roast with no flavor. I'm not sure what happened in the last few months, but we will be finding a new coffee brand.

Great flavored coffee beans

Made my first cup of coffee after using up a dark roast variety. Really enjoyed the medium dark roast of these beans. Looking forward to tomorrow morning already to make more of this coffee.
