[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's too much of something… Maybe nutmeg… and not the Cinnamon and Ginger explosion of Christmas Spirit I was hoping for. This is like a sad Christmas… it's still there but not like you remembered…

We love Mrs. Meyer's hand soap! Pine and Snowdrop smell wonderful. However, the gingerbread makes my hands smell like butter chicken from an Indian restaurant. It smells delicious and accurate….but totally wrong. I don't want my hands to smell like butter chicken. Definitely not gingerbread.

My only incentive is for the scent to be corrected. lol This smells like curry. I purchased the hand soap, all purpose cleaner, and candles. My husband walked in the house and said “are we having Indian” Lol ….it took hours for the smell to wear off. I love eating curry, but I only want to smell it in my house from the time that I bring the bag in until it's consumed. Hopefully this is corrected in time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always wait until the seasonal soaps become available and then we order a years worth of Iowa Pine dish soap and hand soap. We love the clean, fresh outdoor fragrance and it keeps our dishes and hands clean.

I was skeptical of 'iowa pine' smell - I was just in Iowa and saw no pine trees. Corn. Plenty of corn. BUT, it's a mix of spruce and lemon and I dig it. We are loading up now since it's a holiday only scent. Spray cleaner is amazing. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my husband's absolute favorite scent. It really smells like Christmas trees. I really like that even when I'm washing my hands a billion times a day it doesn't dry my skin out. I do find the consistency a bit thick, sometimes it slips off my hands before I can lather it up, so I like to mix a little water in once I've used about 1/8th of the bottle. That makes it go further too!

LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE BUT APPARENTLY NOT FOR EVERYONE ;-) Reading all the reviews about this smell and lots of other smells from Mrs Meyer's and it all boils down to each individual's preference! My husband and I LOVE this Gingerbread fragrance and that it lingers for awhile on our hands, I will even wash my hands for no reason just for the smell, hee hee! It was recommended by a friend and I am so glad she did! So I in turn gave some to my boss and he absolutely hated it, go figure, lol!!! I understand that people get very offended by smells they don't like but some of the nasty reviews about this one are uncalled for :-( All I can say is give it a try and if you don't like it then return it. It may become your new favorite!

Lathers well and is as you would expect from Mrs. Meyer's, but the Gingerbread scent smells like curry on the skin instead of gingerbread! My husband and I had to give that one away, but the Iowa Pine is lovely as always, and the Snowdrop scent smells clean.

I usually buy unscented products - this is the only scented one I enjoy. The scent is very natural, not artificial seeming, and it doesn't linger for too long. I guess the marketing strategy of selling it seasonally must work well for the company but I find it deeply annoying.

The best scent ever! I try to stock up when it comes around seasonally. It really smells like a pine forest and brings up happy holiday feelings as I do the dishes or wash my hands. The hand soap and lotion are a great addition to our guest bathroom too.
