The product itself is nice but the black screws they give you two assemble the wheels of the train are absolutely impossible. I would be better off if they just gave you actual screws instead of pieces of plastic that you can't screw in and bend. It was beyond a struggle to get them in. It probably took at least a half an hour for something that should have taken a minute tops if they were actual screws. Horrible design

We really love the train and tree but it is exceptionally frustrating to put the train together unless you are very strong, which I am not. Would have been much better to be able to actually screw the screws instead If push them in with brut force. Second step2 product we've had this issue with so unlikely we will purchase more Step2 merchandise.

ADORABLE! This tree was so easy to assemble (the only tricky part was snapping the train pieces together). It's the perfect size for infants and toddlers, and the motorized train is such a hit, my nephew couldn't stop watching it go around and around! He also loved rearranging the removable ornaments, keeping him entertained for hours. I had an older model in the past and loved that the star played music, this one doesn't, which isn't a dealbreaker but was a cute touch we enjoyed. I do appreciate that the pieces are interchangeable between versions though! Overall, this was a HUGE hit. I can't wait to set it up in his playroom for the holiday season. It's sure to bring countless hours of festive fun!

The my first Christmas tree wonderland is absolutely perfect! The WORKING train is a HUGE hit for my 2 1/2 year old! It was super easy and super fast to put together. The ornaments are super cute and easy for my son to move to different spots. The train plugs were the hardest part placing them in the holes as they were not perfectly drilled out or centered so that was hard but even with that it took less then 15mins to put together! The train track is a really decent size and I am excited to put this in our living room next to our Christmas tree! The train is ran off of batteries and if you push down it turns on and once you pick the train up it automatically turns off! It is very kid friendly and I cannot wait to see how durable it is! Every kid needs one of these!!

This christmas tree and train combination set is fantastic ! Assembling the tree, trains and the tracks didn't even require using the instructions. It's great that it doesn't take up a ton of space in the living room fully assembled but there's adequate space between the tree and the tracks for both of my children to play, one can hang the christmas star and ball decorations and play with the small train while the other can play with the large train and watch it drive around the track. There were nice designs on the christmas tree ball decor that was a nice touch. I believe this toy will last my family many years it's very well built and seems to do well even when being tossed around by my younger child. I am very happy with this tree and train set. My only suggestion would be to include a 4 pack of the batteries needed to run the train.

Not only is this toy beautiful but it keeps both my toddler and my 7 year old entertained. My kids love putting little toys in the train and watching them go around the track and my toddler has so much fun putting the ornaments and star on. The colors are classic but fun, the quality is really nice, it's easy to clean, and it was super simple for me to put together. It's just as easy to take everything apart if you wanted to store it but I think this is a toy we will have out year-round.

This is a really cute set! My 2 year old loved putting the ornaments and star on the tree and was enthralled with the motorized train. It's a great way to start introducing Christmas to kids. I think it'll be a toy she plays with for many holiday seasons. It was fairly easy to put together except for the wheels that go on the motorized train. You have to push in these plastic black screws and they were near impossible to do. The instructions weren't super clear on how to insert them either - do you twist? Push? I definitely struggled with them and finally tried using a hammer to push them in and that seemed to do the trick.

The holes that on the carts of the train are not big enough for the push-in plastic nails you receive with this. The solution: take a drill and make the holes a bit bigger. Way easier than trying to jam your way through assembling the large train with the motor. Giving 1 star because I shouldn't need to make holes bigger with a drill.

The girls were so excited to open the box and unlock its fun. This was so easy to set up that my four year old was putting it together. There are two train sets and you can move the ornaments around. They were especially excited about placing the “big star” up top. There were two things I was not prepared for which is why I knocked off a star. Adding the wheels was a little difficult. They are flat plastic screws and I kept twisting to get them on. I feel like there could've been an easier approach to this. Second was needing a screw driver to put in the 4 AA batteries required to get the train moving. So overall 4. 5. The kids would give it a five, I was thrilled until I was struggling to get the wheels on. Possibly user error. Overall this is well made and I love how easy these products are easy to set up especially around overly excited children! Looking forward to taking pictures with this on a Christmas backdrop!

Couldn't get the screws in. Very poor product - I will not be buying again. Tried doing this to surprise my 1 year old for Christmas tomorrow, if the screws didn't take Superman to put in it would be set up.
