SO DELICIOUS AND FRESH!

I finally tried the Berry Granola salad yesterday, and although I like the healthy ingredients overall, I thought that there was way too much baby spinach and not enough of the dressing to counter-balance. I felt like I was just eating a whole bunch of raw spinach leaves with some berries mixed in. Not my favorite salad, by far. I did enjoy the fresh strawberries and blueberries, and the crunchy granola along with the walnuts was satisfactory.

This berry granola salad is so delicious and refreshing. It really tastes like summer in a bowl. The spinach is crisp, the strawberries and blueberries are fresh and not overripe, which I love because I can’t stand mushy fruit. I’m also not usually a fan of blue cheese, but somehow it works perfectly here and balances out the sweetness of the berries. The walnuts and granola add just the right amount of crunch and texture, and there’s just enough dressing to tie everything together without making it soggy. Honestly, I wish they would carry this salad all year round because it’s become one of my favorites.

I probably would not buy thos again. The spinach was very fresh, but the other ingredients were difficult to mix up and sparse. There were plenty of blueberries but the strawberry slices were large and few. I do not eat dressing so I have no comment.
