We get a lot of mosquitoes in Southern California, even in the winter time. They love to hang around in damp grass and mossy walkways. This stylish heavy duty candle is a helpful deterrent. Even unlit the strong fragrance seems to keep them away. I'm a little wary of keeping this on my glass patio table because it's so heavy, might be a good idea to have a wooden beam underneath.

The large white cement citronella candle from Sam’s is both stylish and effective. The sturdy cement design looks great on my patio, and the citronella scent is strong enough to deter mosquitoes even in South Texas weather. It burns evenly, lasts a long time, and really makes sitting outside more comfortable. Great value and great protection!

Great candle, smells good also. I used this while sitting in my garage and it worked really well. I was able to sit out there without getting bit by mosquitos. I love the design and the size of it . Will last awhile.

The candle is very good quality. I wasn’t expecting it to be that heavy. I was pleasantly surprised! I tested it outside and it definitely kept the mosquitoes away and the smell is amazing. I can’t say enough how good it was. 10/10

Wow! This thing packs a punch. The citronella aroma is very strong, leaving bugs little chance to hover around your outing. The appearance is fantastic as well. The cement looks great, and I'm actually looking forward to repurposing after the wax is melted. There are instructions, which I found odd, until I actually looked at them. There is a really handy tip for troubleshooting "tunneling" of the wax. I didn't even know that was a thing, but it can happen in cold environments, particularly where one might be burning the candle. All in all, great product. I expect a long burn time!

Would absolutely recommend this product. Candle is large with seven wicks. Smell is pleasant, although potentially overpowering. Base is sturdy and thick. Will be perfect as a centerpiece for an outdoor table.

The cement citronella candles is great to keep all the bugs away. It’s very sturdy and the smell is not overwhelming. It also looks stylish. At night it’s very elegant and most importantly keep mosquitoes at bay. I will be purchasing one for my second patio.

This candle pack smells soooo good. It definitely hits a decent sized area of my house. I got compliments when I had guests over because the smelled it at the door. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love it, ,much better than expected, it’s super heavy(which I love) but would be concerned if using on a glass table like someone else said. The one and only 1 star review was from a person that left it out in her backyard and it melted - it’s wax, Another reviewer said ahe actually read the instructions. I’m glad I bought two because I tossed the first one I opened. I’ll try to post

The citranella wax in these are melted and it was probably done during shipping, which made them really void. But Sam's Club wouldn't take it back because it is on clearance. I was not happy.
