I have a very sensitive skin and this razor shaves like butter. It came with two blades which is nice because it adds value. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor about a week ago and I’ve used it twice so far. It has a really cool design and the base is made solid as well. My first time shaving with this took a little bit getting used to. It rotates in all directions and that’s something I’m not used to but it didn’t take long for me to get comfortable with it. The Gillette Labs razor shaved my face a lot better than my other razors (razors I own) and a lot faster. My wife says it’s been a while since my face has been this smooth so I’m guessing she likes it as well. I would recommend this razor to anyone, at least give it a try and see what you think.

I'm not sure I completely understand the clockwise/counterclockwise rotating swivel in the middle, but regardless, it's a nice razor.

The packaging is fantastic and you know right away that you are holding a superior and well-made product. I use this one in the shower when shaving in the morning. I can't be sure the bar creates a better experience, but its design does create a better connection between the cartridge and handle. I don't think the cartridge will ever inadvertently pop off like some have done in the past. The weighted handle and stand really make this razor feel premium and the shave is excellent too.

I like the stand too for storage and drying, a nice unexpected touch. There is a spot for an extra blade as well, overall a solid razor to choose for daily usage.
