This razor with the exfoliating bar surprised me with a fancy handle, exfoliating bar and how the blades hit your skin. It clears away the grime and lifts the hairs so you get a smooth, close shave in one pass. No dragging, no going over the same spot five times.I noticed it especially around my neck where most razors usually miss or leave razor burn. With this, it’s a smoother glide and way less irritation. The design is modern too. The magnetic stand is a nice upgrade.

While the stand itself was a bit questionable, it surprisingly holds the razor well. The shave itself is incredibly smooth and effective, leaving no irritation or razor burn. It’s incredibly comfortable to use, making it a worthwhile investment. The durability and premium feel of the design are truly impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The differences start when unpacking. The handle has a lovely balanced weight to it that gives it a premium feel. The magnetic base feels similarly premium and holds the handle well. I'm impressed so far. The shave itself was also a step up from the fusion 5. Difficult to describe, but felt smoother and more effective while shaving, and less irritation afterward. The finish was super smooth, and I had no complaints with the fusion 5, but this does still feel like an improvement. The 2D FlexDisc may well have been a factor in this as it's not present on my existing fusion handle. These blades are approximately 50% more expensive than the fusion 5, so that is indeed quite a lot as other reviewers have noted. It's worth it in my view, but I willing finish off my fusion 5 blades before switching.

It's a great product and the base is awesome to keep it safely stored upright and make it easy to grab.

Having the head of the razor articulate might sound trivial, but it elevates the shaving experience and works great. Gillette products hold up well as long as you can find the replacement heads.
