The metal handle is sturdy and provides the razor with a nice balance, which helps it glide across the contours of my face well. The razor itself is sharp and holds up well, cutting the thick hairs on my face and neck. I have sensitive skin, and this razor has helped in providing a smooth shave with less irritation. This GilleteLab with exfoliating bar works perfectly and is smooth and just glides on your skin. The exfoliating bar is incorporated into the handle so all you have to do is just change the blade. A great feature about this is the base that comes with. It’s a heavy duty round base where you just put the razor and you can store it nicely on a shelf, cabinet or in the shower.
