My son bought a Gillette razor with battery power in the handle. He bought it back in 2011 and used it with the same cartridge for a year and a half. He passed away and I started using it on my legs. I have been thinking using it every since with the original cartridge and it still keeps my legs hair free without nicks. So the same razor has worked for me for the past 11 years! In total it has been used for 13 years. What a remarkable thing. I can't say enough about the quality of this razor. Thank you Gillette!

This razor continues down the same path of good performance and little to complain about. I don't think I will ever actually enjoy shaving my face -- but this razor is one of the best ones I have used. The body and handle of the razor is built well and feels substantial in my hand and on my face. This good quality feel and good ergonomics has value to me. Additionally, my biggest complaint with similar razors in the past was the stand. I either had no stand or had a cheap plastic stand that I typically disliked. This razor comes with a minimalistic base with magnetic mount. To me, this is my favorite feature and is why I think it's worth an upgrade from others. Overall, you likely need a razor - and I think this is my preferred product for a recommendation. I plan on continuing to use this for years to come.

The exfoliating bar is great too as it cleans your face before the blades reach you, resulting in fewer cuts. I highly recommend this product and will be heading out to my local store to get some replacements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor has left my legs and armpit feeling extremely smooth, usually i only get this smooth finish if i first exfoliate and use loads of shaving cream and re exfoliate again , this time around i used the exfoliating bar razor for men skipped my whole process just body soap to shower quick shave and honestly am impressed what this razor can do leaving my legs and armpit feeling like i did my usual routine this time around thou no cuts just feeling extremely smooth Im a women who prefers men razors and this has one my attention and as well how i could just have it on the magnetic holding in my bathroom perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Gillette Proglide Razor for years, but the GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor almost necessitates a switch! No more cut hairs clogging up the sides of the Proglide, this GilletteLabs Razor worked better than any razor I've owned. While I was initially skeptical of the exfoliating bar, I have found that I have far less irritation than previous blues (not sure how Gillette did it). 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! I was missing the stand, not a huge deal for me. The razors still gives a smooth shave and would recommend it for the cost and how well it shaves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this about a month ago, and was a little disappointed. At first by the packaging, it's bulky and excessive. Second is the stand they provide for the razor, it barely secured the razor in place. And lastly, I am reviewing the blades, not the over engineered handle. It shaves well and contours to my face, I have a thick beard so it was nice, but all I need is a handle to secure the blade to, not this futuristic looking thing that adds zero to the shaving experience.

This 5-blade razor delivers the same clean shave I expect from their products, but with a more refined look and a stylish stand that adds convenience. The stand is a great touch—it keeps the razor upright and allows the moisturizing strip to dry properly, which helps maintain the blade’s longevity. One unique feature is the rotating disk that lets the blade pivot during shaving. However, I found the internal resistance a bit too strong; it requires more pressure than I typically use, so I couldn’t fully take advantage of the pivoting action. Still, despite that minor drawback, the razor performs exceptionally well and leaves a smooth, clean finish.
