The stand is heavy and holds the razor with no problem. It has to face one way. The razor itself did a decent job of cutting. The most impressive part is the head on how it moves and contours to your face with the curves and movement. Excellent!

I've only used it a few times, and it seems like the blades will last a few weeks before needing replacement. I've always been a big fan of Gillette, and this razor is an improvement on the others.
