[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit and feel of this product gave a great first Impression and the shave did not disappoint. Typical Gillette shave, no frills. Sharp blades leave a soft touch after shave. The aloe bar May be helping but I did not find to affect the overall shave experience. It definitely looks cool with the stand in the washroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are into extreme comfort, luxury, pampering, intense self-care, excess, etc. this razor is for you. Typically I am a bargain dual-blade disposable razor guy as they get the job done cheaply, but my world kind of changed this morning. Unboxing this I was at first a little annoyed and felt kind of environmentally guilty as the packaging was over the top. I felt like I was unboxing a new iPhone. The razor itself is substantial and feels nice in the hand. I didn't expect it, but actually probably had one of the best shaves of my life this morning. It was faster, smoother and more comfortable than any razor I have used before. I kind of wish I hadn't done it so I could go on ignorantly using my cheapo razor. I am trying to make myself feel less guilty by remembering that I am probably creating more waste throwing entire disposal razors away compared to just the head that I will need to switch out with this one. I think a couple of more shaves and I will have easily convinced myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very durable razor with an intuitive design. The blade easily detaches so you are able to clean the razor very well. Due to that, there is no smell even after a few uses. I have always cut my skin with other razors but this one never cut my skin. The razor glides along the jaw easily which helps with a smooth shave. This razor is worth the money and well worth a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using it for three days, this razor has a lot of good going for it. It looks good cradled in the magnetic base. The weight feels good. The handle not only looks good, but it feels good when shaving as well. I like the flexdisc that allows the cartridge to rotate side to side. The shave is a good, clean shave with no tugging or errant nicks. With all of that being said, the razor is good. But in looking at how different everything is with this razor, I feel like this razor should be great and, for me, it really isn't. It's not bad. I just didn't notice an exponentially better shave with this razor than my regular razor that I use which is unfortunate because with as classy as this razor looks and feels, I really wanted to love this more than I do. I wouldn't not recommend it as it is definitely a classy looking razor that gets the job done. But if someone only cares about function, this may not be the only Gillette product worth looking at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It provides a good shave, not sure I can tell a difference between the Mach5. The integrated shave gel works well and isn’t as gooey as is found with some other brands. Much like other multi-plate cartridges, they tend to clog quickly and require rinsing frequently when shaving. The metal handle is solid and comfortable to hold, although a little on the larger side. The magnetic stand is nice and sleek. The prices of refills are a little expensice but it is a premium product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Gillette Mens Razor with Exfoliating Bar is definitely a game changer. I love my current Gillette razors but I do have to admit that the blades get dirty fast because of the dirt and skin that get picked up every time I shave. This new technology is quite awesome as the exfoliating bar picks up all the debris on the skin before the blades actually get to work. I get a very close shave with my new razor and love the fact that the blades remain much cleaner. When it comes to the handle, it is superb and feels like it will last for a while. The stand is also a nice plus as I no longer have to use the toothbrush holder to hang my razor. All in all, I am very pleased with this new razor which gets a 5 stars out of 5 from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette makes a great razor. This one doesn’t necessarily cut any better than the classic Mach 5, but the flexibility is a nice touch and the base is really nice to have on something sharp. All in all a solid plus up to a classic razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this razor just the other day because I have sensitive skin and have to shave every day due to work and needed a decent razor that didn’t irritate my skin. Hopped into the shower and tried this little beauty and was thoroughly impressed. Great shave with no pulling or irritation at all. No razor bumps after the shave as well. I’m not quite sure about the exfoliating part. I wasn’t out to get this razor for those properties. I also like how it pivots left and right as well as forward and backward to eliminate any nicks and cuts. This was the first razor I was able to shave down beneath my chin in the neck area without discomfort. Nice stand as well. This will be a new staple in the grooming kit!

I've happily used Gillette products for decades starting with Blue Blades. Lately I have been quite happy iwht the newer item s. HOWEVER, when I bought refills they now longer fit on my handle. lTurns out the company introduced a new product with a lightly changed handle design, so their new bardes will not fit on the older handle. I can think o now reason for them to do this; unless they hope we'll buy the wrong blades and then have to go back and buy the rights ons--they make an extra sale.
