I've happily used Gillette products for decades starting with Blue Blades. Lately I have been quite happy iwht the newer item s. HOWEVER, when I bought refills they now longer fit on my handle. lTurns out the company introduced a new product with a lightly changed handle design, so their new bardes will not fit on the older handle. I can think o now reason for them to do this; unless they hope we'll buy the wrong blades and then have to go back and buy the rights ons--they make an extra sale.

I like to shave daily with this razor more compared to my other razor I had been using. This one has a good grip handle allowing me to get close in to shaving. It’s sophistication and high quality look and feel is nice. It looks great sitting on my bathroom vanity sink too!

This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I've only used the first blade til now and it has held up after a few weeks of shaving and does not seem to be letting up and wearing out yet. Still have the smooth clean shave from the first round. The exfoliating bar I've not noticed as a useful or noticeable feature, but I've yet to find many or any razors who has a substantial bar.
