[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually a straight edge user/shaver, but needed and alternate use for sensitive skin that doesn’t pull or cause break outs for me. This works well, and the exfoliating bar didn’t cause irritation like I was worried about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my lifetime, I've used a variety of razors. This razor, in my opinion, deserves to be number one. Don't let the razor's attractive appearance detract from its ability to perform. The blades are razor-sharp, but they won't hurt you. It only takes one or two passes over your facial hair, depending on the type. To see if the blades would become clogged, I let my whiskers grow out a little longer. Nope! I was blown away by how easily all of the hair rinsed out without becoming clogged. The metal stand is unnecessary in my opinion, but it does improve the looks of the razor as compared to it simply laying inside your cabinet.

The blades are sharp and glides over my skin effortlessly. I've used this for a few weeks and can confidently say I would not switch to another. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this razor. It's silly but the box it came in felt more like opening a cellphone than a razor. It was very well packed. The razor itself is much heavier and sturdier feeling than my fusion razor used previously. The shave provided was very good, similar to the fusion. For me honestly I couldn't tell the difference. That said the feel, the base, and the packaging make this a much nicer gift than the other razers Gillette offers. It is however priced a bit higher than the fusion which is the only real knock I can give it.

The base is very space-saving and sleek to hold the unit. A top-notch product from the brand I know well.

I am impressed with the comfortable handle, sharpness of blades, and how well it works on the first swipe. Gillette has always been a favorite, but I can see why thus specific razor won so many awards. Very happy!
