I have been a loyal Gillette user since my first shave with Blue Blades at age 15. I'm very disappointed in the last few cans of Gillette Shaving gel. I don't know if the formulation has been changed or quality control is dropping the ball. The gel isn't a gel so much as a slurry. Its very thin and runny. If I have just been getting bad cans of gel, I'll stay with Gillette, but if this is what I can expect, then I am going to switch brands.

This exfoliating bar razor is both effective and easy to use, while also providing a nourishing, smooth shave. The exfoliating bar is such a welcome addition to this razor, as I feel like it adds an element of cleanliness to my routine. As far as the look of the product; it is sleek, slim and very easy to store and travel with. I am excited to have this product and am happy to recommend this razor to my friends and male family members. As always, Gillette's products deliver- and deliver well! I love the contoring pivot head it does make shaving a lot easier and smoother on your face. I have noticed I’m not getting any razor burn I get a nice clean clothes shave every time when using it. I have to make sure I’m always clean-shaven at my job and this razor does an excellent job of helping with that. Would recommend anyone.

The blade itself is par for the course, however; not bad, but it's really no better than other Gillette heads. The exfoliating bar does not make a noticeable difference in my experience. Unfortunate, then, that this base will not fit other Gillette blades, as you're locked in to a higher replacement cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are into extreme comfort, luxury, pampering, intense self-care, excess, etc. this razor is for you. Typically I am a bargain dual-blade disposable razor guy as they get the job done cheaply, but my world kind of changed this morning. Unboxing this I was at first a little annoyed and felt kind of environmentally guilty as the packaging was over the top. I felt like I was unboxing a new iPhone. The razor itself is substantial and feels nice in the hand. I didn't expect it, but actually probably had one of the best shaves of my life this morning. It was faster, smoother and more comfortable than any razor I have used before. I kind of wish I hadn't done it so I could go on ignorantly using my cheapo razor. I am trying to make myself feel less guilty by remembering that I am probably creating more waste throwing entire disposal razors away compared to just the head that I will need to switch out with this one. I think a couple of more shaves and I will have easily convinced myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just might be Gillette's best razor to date. I have used almost all of their razors over the years. This one is awesome. I've done most of the shaving clubs, Dollar Shave Club, Defender, Harry's, etc. This is right up there. The only thing I'll give Harry's the leg up on is the single blade on the back of the razor. Otherwise, this one is tops.

I’ve bought Gillette for years now and have always been very happy with their performance and improvements they continually make to both their handles and blades. I would highly recommend this razor if you are in the market for a new one.

I found the razor to be relatively smooth and effective. I personally didn't see the effect of the girator looking component toward the stem but the razor worked well overall
