It has five blades to give a close shave, as well as an exfoliating bar to help prevent in-grown hairs or razor burn bumps. I really like the razor stand. I was hoping the exfoliating bar would help reduce razor bumps but not for me. I won’t fault the razor because it’s my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started shaving I've bounced from brand to brand and 3-7 blades with all sorts of features but never settled on a consistent razor. This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I've only used the first blade til now and it has held up after a few weeks of shaving and does not seem to be letting up and wearing out yet. Still have the smooth clean shave from the first round. The exfoliating bar I've not noticed as a useful or noticeable feature, but I've yet to find many or any razors who has a substantial bar.
