I bought this a couple weeks ago with the Gillette labs shave gel and moisturizer and it's the perfect combo. I've tried numerous types of after shaves and shave creams, numerous types of razors from Gillette, Harry's, DSC, etc. Without irritation. Even the Gillette sensitive broke me out. Not sure if it's the razor or the combo with the other Gillette labs products but it is the best, smoothest and least irritating shave I've ever gotten, enough so, there's almost no irritation. Worth every penny!

The exfoliating portion is nice to have but not sure how much value it adds for my beard type specifically. My facial hair is more sparse so probably more useful for those with dense hair

No irritation on the skin after shaving and I can say it's due to the exfoliating bar that comes with the razor. The stand helps keep the razor away from any grime that may be on the bathroom or shower area.
