I’ve been using Gillette razors practically my whole life. But never invested in an expensive blade. This razor is a game changer for me. Normally after I have a beard for any length of time and shave again my face gets the crap beat out of it. Red splotchy marks everywhere and I literally need 24/36 hours for it to calm down without looking like I’ve got some skin disease. This pic was taken 5 minutes after shaving. I had a full months beard on my face. I’m an actor, and shaved specifically to put myself on tape tomorrow for a possible job. I shaved tonite to give my face time to “calm down”. I could have shot the video this instant if I wanted to. Game changer. Sometimes more expensive is actually better. I’ll never use a cheap blade again. Thank you Gillette!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this razor is nice. Its very easy to use and forms to my skin great. It performs a smooth cut and keeps my skin from being irritated. The base that it sits in is also great helps keep the razor dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always liked the Gillette 5 blade razors. Closest shave I ever get. the exfoliating bar doesn't really do much for me though. I was hoping it would help with some of the ingrown hairs, but it didn't do anything.

It removes the dirt and debris faster and without many efforts. I super liked the product quality and saves time in shaving on regular bases. It does not irritate skin at all. It comes with stand which can hold the shaver and can re-charge quickly. I liked the packing of the product which comes solid packing and easily portable. I loved the product for its quality and values it add to me.

The razor felt too scratchy as I shaved, almost as if I was scraping and not shaving, and did not move well with the contour of my face. In some areas where I had dry skin the razor nicked me a few times. So the shave is close, but may be a little too close if your face has some uneven or bumpy spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another quality razor by Gillette. I have sensitive skin along with coarse facial hair, so picking a good blade is very important. I was pleased with this blade, and didn't experience any razor burn or other issues. I will say that I didn't notice much of a difference with the exfoliating bar, but that's not a big deal. Although the base is nice, it doesn't fit well on my counter top. Overall this is a solid razor!
