[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The highlight of this razor for me was the presentation and box. I would actually feel good about giving this as a gift. The box, the packing, the weighted magnetic base, and the overall look is an A+ for me. However, for my face type, The exfoliating bar isn't all that comfortable. I prefer a stand alone lubicration bar. The exfoliating bar seems to remove lubrication for subsequent passes.

I love pretty much everything that Gillette makes and this razor is no exception. Gillette always makes high quality products that I use pretty much every day, including this razor. The Exfoliating Bar Razor is nice on my face and makes my face smooth without having to add an extra step into my facial care routine. As usual Gillette seems to have made this razor with quality, everything works as you would expect it and the blades last a long time. I think the first Gillette razor I ever had was the Mach 3 and I have owned pretty much every one since then. Each has had its pluses and minuses, but I think that this one is pretty solid overall. If you are a Gillette user you won’t be disappointed.

The first time I used this razor, and every time after, I didn't have any of those issues. This razor gives a nice, close shave very quickly and it has become my new go to when I am cleaning up my neck line under my beard. This summer, when I start shaving more frequently, this razor will be what I use. I also like that it has disposal cartridges and the handle is reused, less trash and waste.

It has a nice heft to it due to its metal construction, and feels very sturdy. Overall a good pick for the money.
