[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I succumbed to this new razors ad and purchased one. I remember the days before supposed comfort strips were billed as the best shave ever. They never lived up to that. Today, they hawk that the best shave is with an exfoliating strip. I tried it. I am not a fan of five blades. They take off too much skin and leave me chaffed with burn spots. The exfoliating strip is a nice marketing ploy, but I don't see the value of something raking my skin just before I'm going to run a razor across it. I think there are much better products to remove dead facial skin and I recommend them instead of this razor. The razor is pretty well balanced and looks kinda funny, and the blades are fairly easy to change. I didn't find much value in this razor or a very comfortable shave. Perhaps a comfort strip that lasts more than a few days would give a better shave. Not recommended!

I like a close shave, and this razor works great. It comes with a built-in exfoliating bar that helps remove debris and dirt off my face before the blades touch my skin, giving me a closer, cleaner shave. The 2D flex of the razor blades contours to the shape of my cheeks and jaw, making perfect contact with my skin. This is a five-blade razor. The razors are thin and flexible and make shaving a smooth experience. They have no issues cutting through my coarse stubble. The diecast zinc metal handle is durable and lightweight. It fits comfortably in my hand. The ribbed rubber grips help to keep my fingers firmly on the razor handle while shaving. I like that this razor comes with a magnetic circular stand that holds my razor upright when I'm finished. It helps to keep it clean and dry for my next use.

I found that it had a nice weight to it suggesting good durability. The color is sleek and just visually appealing in any countertop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically buy bic, but decided to give this gillette razor a try and I may never go back! Very smooth shave and I love the exfoliating aspect, you can really feel your pores exfoliate as you shave and certainly once you're all done!

Tried this because it was the latest and greatest from Gillette, replacing my the ProGlide I have been using the past couple of years. The good, one of the best handles Gillette has ever made. Sturdy, with a bit of weight to it. I have slightly larger hands and the handle has a good grip. The bad, to say these razors are a disappointment would be an understatement. 3 shaves in, the white strip started falling out. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but happened with the second razor as well. Razors went dull extremely quickly. I typically get 20-25 shaves out of a razor before I have to replace, these two razors I got 8 and 10 respectively. Huge drop off in quality from the previous razors. Almost a good product...

My shaves haven’t been this smooth since I was a new born baby! The stand is durable and the magnetic base is easy to keep my razor upright! Good valued purchase to have on hand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a refined experience from gillette. the magnetic docking station is smart and it works to keep the razor dry and displayed in a slick way. the exfoliating bar is a decent touch, seems to work great for me. I got a nice close shave without snags or complications. this is a good product.

Performance is exactly what you’d expect from Gillette — only the best. The included magnetic stand is amazing and looks great in my bathroom!
