It is a smoothe shave and very easy to put on new blades which can be a hassle with some companies. Highly recommend!

It comes in a nice packaging which includes 1 razor, a magnetic stand for the razor, and 2 cartridges. After using the razor, I was amazed with the results. The best part is that as you shave, the exfoliating bar does its job on removing any dirt leaving you a fresh and clean cut. No irritation or razor bumps on my skin! Another great thing about this razor is the movement of the flex disk and how it allows the razor to contour your face. The results on my face are amazing, smoothly fresh and clean skin. The razor is not heavy and the design on the handle feels nice to hold. I find the magnetic stand a pretty cool feature. It makes the razor look more stylish on my sink. Overall, this is such an awesome kit and it is very high quality. I would definitely buy myself another pair and i highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both the handle and the dock for this razor are made of a very solid, hefty metal. They do not feel cheap at all. The handle has a nice anti-slip texture where you would place your fingers and the razor head release is very positive. The 4 way pivoting head is a nice addition, moving forward to back and tilting from left to right. The 5 blades of the razor are clean and sharp, as I have come to expect from Gillette. Also included is the rear side detailing razor for the sideburns, etc. This is a feature that I think should be standard on all high end razors. I can't speak as to whether or not the exfoliating bar on the razor makes much of a difference for me. What I can say is that the overall feel and performance of this razor is that of high quality. This razor is definitely worth putting on your list and would be well received by a loved one.

You can definitely tell that the blades are supported evenly across the head of the razor making for a confident shave and no snags. It is lighter weight then expected and the addition of the weighted base is nice. I didn't find the flex head super necessary for the way I shave but it can certainly be a helpful feature for others.

But this razor is none of those! This is the best razor I have ever used and I will forever use this razor and buy these cartridges because it provides me with comfort, cleanliness, and confidence! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My absolute favorite part of this razor is the magnetic stand. It's great to be able to use a razor that stays sharper and dry. This box comes with one razor, one cartridge and one stand. The cartridge has five blades and the handle is made of metal. There is an exfoliating bar that removes dirt and debris before the blades. This razor is a nice smooth shave. I will definitely continue to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are into extreme comfort, luxury, pampering, intense self-care, excess, etc. this razor is for you. Typically I am a bargain dual-blade disposable razor guy as they get the job done cheaply, but my world kind of changed this morning. Unboxing this I was at first a little annoyed and felt kind of environmentally guilty as the packaging was over the top. I felt like I was unboxing a new iPhone. The razor itself is substantial and feels nice in the hand. I didn't expect it, but actually probably had one of the best shaves of my life this morning. It was faster, smoother and more comfortable than any razor I have used before. I kind of wish I hadn't done it so I could go on ignorantly using my cheapo razor. I am trying to make myself feel less guilty by remembering that I am probably creating more waste throwing entire disposal razors away compared to just the head that I will need to switch out with this one. I think a couple of more shaves and I will have easily convinced myself.
