The blades are super sharp and give a really close shave without needing to go over the same spot multiple times. What I like most is how smooth it feels — there’s barely any tugging, and it glides really easily, especially with some shaving gel. The handle has a good grip too, so it doesn’t slip even when your hands are wet. I’ve tried a few cheaper options before, but honestly, Gillette just feels more refined. The only downside is the replacement blades can get a bit pricey, but they last a while if you rinse and dry them after each use. The handle not only looks good, but it feels good when shaving as well. I like the flexdisc that allows the cartridge to rotate side to side. The shave is a good, clean shave with no tugging or errant nicks. With all of that being said, the razor is good. But in looking at how different everything is with this razor, I feel like this razor should be great and, for me, it really isn't. It's not bad. I just didn't notice an exponentially better shave with this razor than my regular razor that I use which is unfortunate because with as classy as this razor looks and feels, I really wanted to love this more than I do. I wouldn't not recommend it as it is definitely a classy looking razor that gets the job done. But if someone only cares about function, this may not be the only Gillette product worth looking at.
