Purchased the new exfoliating bar razor. In comparison to the proglide that I have used for years. The handle seems cheap, makes a clicking sound when you put it to face and the shave is no as good as the proglide. IMO Thanks but no thanks Chris Warren

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From start to finish this is simply An exceptional razor! The weighted and magnetized base is really the winner for me here! There’s something incredibly forward thinking in making this a feature. Like everyone else who uses a razor, I’ve definitely misplaced mine from time to time. It’s such a convenience to it only have the base, but to be able to set it down and know it won’t roll off the counter, or just otherwise simply disappear. I see a lot of benefit for someone whose either forgetful (as I can sometimes be) or of an advanced age. Simply because it’s so simple to keep track of. The multiple razors on the head definitely do an exceptional job, and the circle in the middle really provides an excellent grip that other designs don’t have. The bar at the top makes sure you’re good to go if you don’t have access to anything but some water, so perfect to bring camping or in a situation where that may be limited. Awesome razor, definitely recommend it highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor gets the job done. The five blades give a nice shave. The exfoliating bar helps to not clog the blade so quickly. The magnetic stand is a nice way to store the razor, so it stays clean and dry. You really need to place the razor just right for the stand to be useful, and if you bump into it, the razor will tip and fall over. This razor does what it's meant to but it's nothing special compared to other razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was so so. Don't get me wrong I love Gillette products but this one sort of disappointed me. When it says shave just like you wash your face I thought it would suds up or even glide smoothly with out a shave gel.... I was wrong it tugged the first swipe before I added shave gel and gave myself a nice nic. So I definitely recommend people to use your normal shaving technique that you enjoy.

The innovations in the razor blade design create an excellent shave much closer than with other Gillette razors. However, there is no texture on the surface of the outer half of the handle so that it becomes very slippery as soon as it becomes wet even though when dry it is easy to hold.

It is heavy duty and doesn’t feel like it will break when I use it. This set comes with the razor, 3 blade refills, a magnetic stand and a travel case. It has everything you need in one package. The blades on this razor are really sharp too and they shave super close which I like. It doesn’t leave stubble behind. The exfoliating bar on it is nice too, and removes any dirt from your face before you shave. The handle of the razor is easy to hold and has a nice grip. I like the magnetic stand as well. When you are done, just stick the razor on the stand and you are good to go. The travel case is nice too and comes in handy if you go on a trip. I do recommend this razor.
