My son bought this razor back in 2011. He passed away one year later and I have been using it every since. It still has the original cartridge because I really can't afford a new one. It doesn't matter because it still works great .. no nicks or cuts. This one cartridge has been used over and over for the last 13 years! I cannot say enough about the quality of your product. I honestly can’t say if the exfoliating bar is doing anything but I’m left with a close shave and no irritation. I like the hefty weight of the razor and also the included stand. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this razor for a few weeks and so far I am enjoying it. The metal handle has a high quality look and feel, and the dual motion of the flexing head/pivoting neck gives me a nice, close shave. The blade still feels as sharp as it was when new, and the exfoliating pad has held up and is not slimy or cracking. Admittedly, I have a beard and only shave my neck and clean up my cheeks, but the disposable blade has held up great thus far. I personally think the heavy magnetic stand it comes with is kind of ridiculous, but maybe that's because prefer to keep my razor in the drawer with the rest of my bathroom stuff and not standing up on the counter. I can definitely see my younger self finding this to be cool though, so I guess there's value there? Overall, this is a great razor. Depending on the blade replacement costs, I can see myself purchasing more in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I succumbed to this new razors ad and purchased one. I remember the days before supposed comfort strips were billed as the best shave ever. They never lived up to that. Today, they hawk that the best shave is with an exfoliating strip. I tried it. I am not a fan of five blades. They take off too much skin and leave me chaffed with burn spots. The exfoliating strip is a nice marketing ploy, but I don't see the value of something raking my skin just before I'm going to run a razor across it. I think there are much better products to remove dead facial skin and I recommend them instead of this razor. The razor is pretty well balanced and looks kinda funny, and the blades are fairly easy to change. I didn't find much value in this razor or a very comfortable shave. Perhaps a comfort strip that lasts more than a few days would give a better shave. Not recommended!

Blades also last for a while, have been using for about 2 weeks without much decrease in quality of shave. Would continue to use for sure.
