After using my shaving balm, this razor is nothing short than 'seamless and absolutely efficient.' The exfoliating bar leaves your post-shave experience one to enjoy. Great work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It provides a good shave, not sure I can tell a difference between the Mach5. The integrated shave gel works well and isn’t as gooey as is found with some other brands. Much like other multi-plate cartridges, they tend to clog quickly and require rinsing frequently when shaving. The metal handle is solid and comfortable to hold, although a little on the larger side. The magnetic stand is nice and sleek. The prices of refills are a little expensice but it is a premium product.

The handle has just enough weight to really feel good in my hand, it curves over my face really well and is just super easy to handle. The razor gives a really nice, smooth close shave. My face felt soft and smooth after using! I had no irritation at all. Also great is the stand for when not in use. Highly recommend.

The exfoliated bar really seems to help get that closer shave by lifting the hairs. The stand is perfect to keep the razor stored and sage from damage. Will buy replacement cartridges for this razor. Recommend to all.

Although it didn’t seem to cause more than usual, it didn’t seem to do much to prevent them either. Maybe it’s just me, overall the product gets the job done but I was expecting a little more out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using this razor by Gillette. It has a nice grip handle. Easy grip feeling in your hand. Also with a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy. The swivel head and exfoliating bar leaves your skin feeling very smooth!!

This razor made the shave go by quickly and pain free. I really like that it comes with a stand to keep my razor stored and out of the way. The stand is slightly wiggly but does hold well. Overall great razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started shaving I've bounced from brand to brand and 3-7 blades with all sorts of features but never settled on a consistent razor. This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I've only used the first blade til now and it has held up after a few weeks of shaving and does not seem to be letting up and wearing out yet. Still have the smooth clean shave from the first round. The exfoliating bar I've not noticed as a useful or noticeable feature, but I've yet to find many or any razors who has a substantial bar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar by Gillette is a kit that includes a razor handle with an Exfoliating Bar, 2 blade refills, and a magnetic stand. The razor handle is comfortable to hold, and I like that it allows the blade to rotate side to side, as well as tilting forward and backward. The Exfoliating Bar is the neon yellow rumble strip below the blades. I like that it is attached to the handle, not the blade, and that it feels smooth, yet slightly rough for that skin exfoliation. Shaving is very smooth and effortless. The combination of the Exfoliating Bar, 5 sharp cutting blades, and multi-tilting head built into the handle make it glide smoothly over my face. The Exfoliating Bar is nice, and I like it over lubricating strips, but it doesn’t replace them. The magnetic stand is very heavy and has a slip-proof pad underneath. It’s a nice addition for the kit. Another plus is that it comes with an extra blade. Overall, it’s a nice razor kit, and wouldn’t mind getting it again.
