The handle is comprised of metal with rubber ridges on top and bottom providing a very comfortable grip. The metal circular indentation near the razor head gives a nice placement for my thumb while shaving. I love the exfoliating bar and 2D flexdisc, which contours to my face and results in a comfortable clean shave with each stroke. The magnetic stand is also a great feature, but the magnet is a bit weak.

It definitely feels a bit more elevated than your basic razor with a sleek design and a stylish base that holds the razor when not in use, which is a nice touch. When it comes to performance though I found it to be just okay. It got the job done, but the shave didn’t feel as smooth or effortless as what I’m used to with my Dollar Shave Club blades. I noticed I had to go over certain areas more than once to get the closeness I wanted. Maybe it’s due to the blades or the fact that I have thicker hair? Overall, it’s a decent option in a pinch or for travel but it wouldn’t be my go-to razor for everyday use.

The quality of the handle and the blades were top notch. The blades gave me a close shave and lubricated my skin as I went. Also, the hairs didn’t get stuck as much in the blades like some other razors out there, so it was easy to rinse after I was done.

I have sensitive skin, so pairing it with a good shaving cream has been great for reducing razor burn. I shave fairly often, and I have used the same razor head for over a month, and it’s still shaving very well. More expensive but works better than cheaper razors.

I didn't feel the exfoliating bar do much but I like the concept and I hope they keep improving. The stand is nice and i like have it somewhere instead of laying flat.

I purchased this razor thinking it won't leave missed hairs behind but it did. It did not perform any better than other razors I have used. I think the razors I have bought from here before are actually better performing than this time out. I would like to get my money back

This Gillette razor has lasted me 2 weeks and still has not gone dull. 1 cartridge will get me about 10-12 shaves, which is beyond my expectations. The exfoliating bar is a plus and keeps the skin nice and moisturized also lubricated. I will only be using this Gillette razor going forward, I am sold on this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new GilletteLabs with Exfoliating bar razor! It is by far the nicest razor I've ever used in terms of build quality and construction. The magnetic base stand is beautiful and goes well with my vanity. The cartridge easily applies onto the handle and WOW is it sharp! It has drastically cut down my shaving time at the sink. It doesn't get clogged up with stubble anywhere as fast as the other razors I've owned in the past. Wonderful, smooth clean shave. I really trust Gilette with shaving products and once again, they've knocked it out of the park. Highly recommended!
