This is a seriously high quality razor. Great looking and feeling design, but the best part is the blade cartridge and the way this razor allows it to flex in a variety of different directions and orientations. There are certain parts of my throat area where the hair grows sort of oddly and for some reason, no matter which direction I try to shave in, it’s really difficult to close cut this small patch of hair. With this razor, it’s effortless to get a close cut on this patch of hair (around throat area). I really think the way this razor allows the blade cartridge to flex, is greatly impacting how easy it is to get a close shave in areas that are usually more difficult to get with almost every other razor.

Was very sceptical at first, but it is the best shave I have ever had. I cant beleive how close and smooth it left, i cant feel any stubble after. I hope it works for everyone else this well

I have had the sensor and the Mach3 and this Labs razor comes in third. The handle is heavy and clumsy and although the blades last they do not give the close smooth shave the Mach3 gives. I would love to trade it back for some Mach3 blades.

But the GilletteLabs with the exfoliating bar actually surprised me. That built-in bar? It gently scrubs your skin before the blades even touch it, so the shave feels super smooth and way less irritating. It’s got a nice weight to it, the magnetic stand’s a cool bonus, and I haven’t had razor burn all week. Is it pricey? Yeah. But… I kinda get it now. Can’t ask for anything better.

I used to always use the bag of value razors that tend to be cheaper and go “further” or so I taught. I could feel the difference from the first shave using Gillette’s exfoliating bar razor, smoother, sharper, and not having to go back through the same spot more than once. Also, when it’s time to replace it, it’s more convenient to just switch the top part of the razor with a new head and less costly than the first time when you have to invest to buy the handle, which also comes with this razor stands that I have to admit makes a razor look cool and almost part of my bathroom decoration.

The razor has some weight to it that makes it feel really premium. I didn’t get razor burn from it.
