The shave with this razor was much closer than I am used to with cartridge razors and the exfoliating bar was a nice change of pace. The only drawback is the cost of refills- and when shaving the razor head reacted oddly with my cream based shaving cream causing gel like strings when I would pull the razor from my skin.

Tried it after not shaving for 2.5 weeks and it was great, the slight movement of the blade and also the smoothness of the razor itself worked very well. And the stand is great as I can put it up on something rather then just throwing it in a drawer or the cabinet . The only reason for the One less star is the fact that only 1 blade is included which Yes this is the set mainly for the razor itself they tend to sell the razors sets way cheaper and overcharge for the just the replacement blades so be wary of that.

Like the metal stand great place to put the razor in a safe area in the bathroom. The disc on the razor make a easy glide on skin which I like very much.

The built-in exfoliating bar is a nice touch—it helps clear away dead skin and preps the hair before the blades even touch your face, making the shave smoother and more effective. The razor itself feels super premium with a solid metal handle and magnetic stand, and the flexing head does a great job following the contours of my face. Before using this razor I was a big single blade razor user as those got you a really close shave to the skin but this one is twice as fast and just as much of a clean shave as my single blade. I have tried using Gillette razors over the years and no matter what I used I got irritation or bumps on my neck. I had to switch to electric foil shavers because of that. I gave this a shot and it did not disappoint. Whatever that little exfoliating bar is, it works! Once its hit with warm water it just glides like melted butter on my skin.
