Not really sure that the exfoliating bar does much, but that part of my skincare/shaving routine was already pretty dialed in when I started using it. The stand it comes with is very handsome/handy too. Came with two cartridges, so I haven't had to buy any replacements yet and am not sure how difficult they'll be to come by. My only complaint is that, while the articulation of the actual razor is really nice (and kind of impressive), it's a little too flexible/has too little resistance -- makes getting the top of my mustache (right under the nostrils) kind of difficult.

The handle feels substantial and well-made, and the lifetime warranty gives confidence in the build quality. My main concern is the ongoing cost replacement cartridges are significantly more expensive than regular Gillette blades.

I honestly can’t say if the exfoliating bar is doing anything but I’m left with a close shave and no irritation. I like the hefty weight of the razor and also the included stand. It is heavy but it doesn't adhere to anything so it is possible to move and knock off a ledge. The shave itself is smooth with no irritation. The handle feel good in the hand and like it's high quality.
