[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Exfoliating Bar Razor for a couple of weeks, overall, I am impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the design. The base stand that is included is also a nice touch. The razor provides a smooth and close shave and I particularly like the articulating razor head. However, I do have some critiques. The razor requires a new type of razor head, which means I cannot use the ones I already have. Additionally, I found the exfoliating pad to be ineffective. Despite my appreciation for the razor, I will likely continue using my previous razor to avoid having to purchase the new style of razor head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started shaving I've bounced from brand to brand and 3-7 blades with all sorts of features but never settled on a consistent razor. This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I've only used the first blade til now and it has held up after a few weeks of shaving and does not seem to be letting up and wearing out yet. Still have the smooth clean shave from the first round. The exfoliating bar I've not noticed as a useful or noticeable feature, but I've yet to find many or any razors who has a substantial bar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is easy to use, does a good job, and I love the magnetic stand that it comes with. I shave every other day and this more then gets the job done. Its simple to rinse off and easy to place back in the magnetic stand.

I use a Gillette razor every day and have done so for over a decade, as I started shaving my head daily in 2009. I love their products but this is just too much. The exfoliating bar pushes the blades too close together and they clog easier than the standard 5-blade cartridge. I only used this on my face and neck, which I shave less often, but I'm not sure I've noticed any benefit to the exfoliation. The tilting head seems like a cool concept, but I didn't like it in practice. Made it more difficult to maneuver around my jaw. I also disliked the cartridge-specific handle. I love being able to mix and match heads. The base for the handle also seemed cool in principle, but the magnet is so weak it's useless. Don't bother with any of it.

This razor is very smooth on my face and does not get hair stuck between the blades like some other razors I have used in the past. The stand keep my countertop clean from shaving cream and from sticking to the counter everyday. Definitely recommend this product.

It gives a very close shave and leaves my face feeling smooth. The handle is good quality and is easy to hold. Not too heavy like some other brands. If your looking for an awesome razor, this is it!

I love that the exfoliating built in bar cleans my face then allowing the blades to give me a great smooth shave. It also contours to my face to make sure no area is missed. I get a perfect close clean shave, without any nicks or irritation to my skin. When done, it’s easily placed in the magnetic stand until next time. I would highly recommend this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using all different kind of razor and nothing can compare to the Gillette Razor as it's so smooth and i don't feel a thing when i'm using it on my face. it's also shave very clean i believe this is due to the 5 blade design. love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gave me some of the closest shaves I have ever received. The exfoliating bar made it extra slippery for thay close smooth shave. I didn’t get any knocks or razor burns after. 10/10 would recommend
