This 5-blade razor delivers the same clean shave I expect from their products, but with a more refined look and a stylish stand that adds convenience. The stand is a great touch—it keeps the razor upright and allows the moisturizing strip to dry properly, which helps maintain the blade’s longevity. One unique feature is the rotating disk that lets the blade pivot during shaving. However, I found the internal resistance a bit too strong; it requires more pressure than I typically use, so I couldn’t fully take advantage of the pivoting action. Still, despite that minor drawback, the razor performs exceptionally well and leaves a smooth, clean finish.

The exfoliating bar is great too as it cleans your face before the blades reach you, resulting in fewer cuts. I highly recommend this product and will be heading out to my local store to get some replacements.

Very sharp blades and plenty of them. It is hands-down, without a doubt, the best shave I have ever had. It shaves extremely cleanly, no nicks. Worth every penny!

I love the close shave it gives me, it leaves me feeling so smooth. With the exfoliating bar technology, I found it fascinating how it picks up debris and hairs, which usually clog my razor blades. The stand it comes with is pretty handy, normally I toss my razor on the sink but the stand gives it a more sophisticated feeling to it, and looks classy sitting on my sink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review for Gillette labs razor with exfoliating bar: I really like the sleek design and how the razor feels in my hand. It feels premium and substantial. The stand provided is an added bonus. The shave was close and smooth, gliding effortlessly across my skin with no irritation, or pulling of hair. Hours after shaving, I did not notice any ingrown hairs or irritation bumps. It worked especially well in different places like the neck. I noticed I could go longer between shaves than usual. Even after three uses, the blade still felt sharp. I did find the circular head movement(as shown on the box) to be unnecessary, as I didn’t experience that movement at all while shaving. It’s hard to tell if the exfoliating bar actually exfoliates. Overall, I prefer this razor to my usual Harry’s, though the shave didn’t feel much different from other Gillette models and seems to have some unnecessary design functions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars!
