Great sound quality and fantastic battery life, but wind noise cancellation requires active noise cancellation on full, so I have to choose between loud wind noise and not hearing traffic while walking down the sidewalk. Also, the device selection switch says the headset is switching between my phone and TV, but it continues to only play the TV audio when when it says it's switching to my phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were gifts for Christmas and the sound is staticky even at a low volume. The first set was exchanged thinking maybe those were just a defect, but nope I'm about to go exchange the second set and pray for a better outcome. I have some from like 3 or 4 yrs ago and they just started sounding staticky which that i understand they have been used alot and at all levels of volume.

Received then two weeks ago. This set replaces the original Bose noise cancelling headphones I bought in 2002. Of course these are a nice improvement over what I had but they still work well. I find this set to be of high quality and comfort with simple, easy to use controls. Recharges fast and the charge last just about all week.

Bought these because earbuds irritate my ear canals. Didn't think I would love them this much. Last time I used quiet comfort headphones was gen 1 way back in the day, they've become SO much better! I absolutely am blown away by the ANC features and "wind mode".

I didn't know how many stars to give because I'm not sure if I purchased a defective pair or whether the bluetooth technology used by Bose is not good. Incidentally, I bought a pair of Bose earbuds for my daughter in law a year ago and now her bluetooth connection is not working. I am hoping that when I get the replacement pair, the issue will be resolved and then I can give another assessment about the product.

Sound quality is very good. However I bought these with the expectation that the noise cancellation would be good and I find it doesn’t work well. Outside I can still easily hear cars and the wind. Even though it has a feature for the wind. Plane noise is also still easily heard with them. I was hoping for better especially given the cost. Very disappointed.

These are a revelation! I've had a lot of good headphones before, and recently I had to replace a pair of Audio Technicas after 12 years of use. These Bose QuietComforts not only block out tons of noise, but the clarity of every instrument is next level. And best of all, the bass! The bass is so clear that it clearly stands as its own instrument, both without overpowering other instruments, and without becoming muddled or lost. I've had a blast rediscovering my favorite albums these last couple of weeks.

I use them for work meetings as well as personal use (soooo good on planes). They’re very comfy - I prefer them over earbuds, and the noise cancellation is excellent! Highly recommend over and over.

I have always used , and loved, Bose products. My Bose glasses changed my life and practice. However, the QuietComfort headphones, which I use when I want total immersion are amazing. Bose has the best sound on the planet. I wouldn't wear anything else. (But, I still love my Bose glasses, which I wear all day every day.)

Happy with these headphones, but i expected slightly better sound quality for the price. Bose products are always top notch. These are also. If you want to use these wireless on an airplane you will need to buy a blue tooth transmitter, for about 30 to 50 bucks. It would be nice if Bose included a blue tooth thansmitter along with the headphones . They do give you a wire to connect that way, so you may be happy with that. The built in controls handle a lot of features, which can be slightly confusing at first, but you get used to it, and they are features i'm glad it has.
