The headphones are amazing. The quiet mode can be a little strenuous on the ears in loud areas over long periods of time. When I use them at work the aware setting is great. The app really makes this product shine. I love being able to switch between multiple devices so quickly and seamlessly. Even my touchy samsung tv connects to them every time.

Thank you Bose! I plan to buy earbuds next instead of airpods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these almost as an afterthought, having multiple sets of Bose earbuds and over the ear headphones. That was a mistake, I have been blown away by the much more immersive nature of wearing over the ear headphones. Excellent sound, noise reduction is great, and I love the ability to fine tune my audio experience on the fly based on where I am and what I’m listening to. Definitely recommend.

Got these for my husband to cancel/reduce noise while cutting stainless steel on a vertical band saw. The QCs produced an almost equal sound and out of sync noise that hurt his ears worse than the band saw without headphones. It's understood these were not designed for this purpose. In the more typical application, they work as expected.

9/10 The good: It's noise canceling is amazing, you can't hear a thing with it on I love music and the quality of these headphones absolutely changes my listening experience. The bad: The headphones don't really fit my head too well, it feels straight odd Sometimes it makes a sort of clicking noise out of no where when there's nothing playing And finally, if noise canceling is off then if too loud of a noise happens close to the headset, it tops out, for example, if you jingle keys near it, it sounds toatly scuffed.

Bought a set to replace the 10-year old pair my son decided was his own. I've always loved the bass and dynamics of Bose sound whether audiophiles like it or not and have been devoted to Bose products for 25+ years, but something is different. There was a tinny sound and a weird buzz and despite all trouble-shooting, could not re-create what I had with my old set. The sound was distracting, annoying and gave me a headache after a couple of minutes. It could be that these were defective, but after trying some Sony's, the Bose product just seems inferior now. It was good for decades, but not sure if it's good enough anymore. Returned for refund and replaced with Sony's.

A friend of mine who enjoys the finer things in life sent me these headphones a little less than a month ago. I never considered how the selfless gesture of this gift could enhance my quality of life. Officially the nicest audio consumption device my ear holes have experienced, really enjoying revisiting favorite classics and hearing them like never before.

I bought this 2 months ago and after testing them out at work, the mic captures all the noise around me. I wish I could get a refund but because I opted for a replacement, the 90 day satisfaction is no longer valid... I would NOT RECOMMEND if you plan on buying these headphones if you use a mic at work all the time. If you are just buying them for sound, then I would get them.

The sound quality and ease of using the headphones is outstanding. I downloaded the Bose headphones app on my iPhone and iPad, which adjusts volume, base, and other controls.. They also connect with my MacBook Pro which employs the standard MacBook controls for volume. I have used them for music mostly, but also listening to seminars in my field. With music, I am hearing clearly subtle nuisances of different instruments, obscured earlier with my old headphones.

They are comfortable and very quiet. I use them to block out all types of noise in my daily life, from my husband watching soccer on the TV to the yard blowers in the neighborhood to traveling in airports. I continue to reach for them in our over-stimulating world to find quiet moments.
